OK....I just checked camera settings.... I turned the flash to : Off I adjusted Saturation level to: High Saturation Sharpness: Hard....no giggling and Exposure Bias to -2 EV I don't know if all digital cameras allow all of these manual settings or not but the best thing I think is to play with the settings during the opening act. Ttry to time the taking of your pictures to when the lighting seems optimal, and take alot of pics. If I would have known they were gonna be this good I would have taken more. I only had a few clunkers. Crap.

Oooh one more thing Lori before I hit the pillow....you & Mel were so smart to take pictures of stuff like the guard gates and the laundry bags & stuff...it sounds silly but it takes you to the whole experience better than just show pics. I never thought of that....but that's why yall are the "Masters"

Okay yall......I'm back from my 6 hour Detroit drive back to Chicago....I had to really decompress after such an exhausting exciting eventful 24 hours.. Here it is in a nutshell Seeing the concert with Mel & Lori and April was fantastic....the primo seats for us from Chris?- Killer Mel & Lori's backstage trip and personal birthday wish,? Priceless. The show was great and I thought Chris' voice was extra super gorgeous with some beautifully held falsetto's that I haven't heard in those spots before. But, the highlight for me? Chris singing my lyric banner .........We held it high during LIJ. Mel tells me that at the song intro Chris came over and crouched down to give it a good read (it WAS a bit long-oops AND it was sort of in front of my own face) and then he sort of pinched his nose like" OK got it" Then he came over and damn if he didn't bend right down in front of me and point at it and sing it...Aaaaaawwww...My little cwissie sang to us!!!!!!! I haven't even searched youtube yet to see if anyone happened to be filming during Lovers. Crossing my fingers, and hoping someone will give me a heads up if they see one. I really do believe there was some good ColdplayCarma flowin again that night. Though I don't have a ton of posts here here, I am here pretty much every day checking all the threads and enjoying the awesome community of people who love THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!! I'm glad I got to share it with dedicated superfans Mel & Lori, and Mel's fantastic friend April !!-Wooohooo April & Joe!!! Now, finally, some pictures from the front Baby!!!!!!!! As far as not playing certain songs, you know when yoy've only got a finite time to perform at a show there are going to be an awful lot of great songs that just don't make the cut. My guess is that the ones that do make it are a combo of ones that the band can pull off well, live; ones that they think the audience is expecting, (a good portion off the newest release included) ; and ones that they enjoy performing themselves. This is just a guess. But I have heard them say in interviews they put a lot of time and energy in coming up with the final set list. It's unlikely any set list will please all the people all the time so, they just do the best they can I would suppose. That being said "WHY DON'T THEY PLAY SHIVER OR WARNING SIGN!!!!!" Okay ,cough, sputter, ahem, sorry I feel better ....We'll cross our fingers that maybe something crazy will happen in Det. that'll make us both happy. In the mean time, happy CP obsession!
