To me it is a little reminiscent of our favorite singer. I googled them last year after listening to 'Burning...' and none of their other songs really sounded much like that one or of Coldplay in general .....and it seems they've broken up. There was some sort of tragedy involving the family member of the violinist so maybe that contributed.....

I think I told you my husband spotted yall on the second night when we were on the other side of the arena and said "there's those Jonny-crazy girls you told me about!" If they come back close to Chicago for an additional tour leg yall have to road trip it again. You can school us on the proper way to create a meet & greet. We could bring our kids as bait! There is no way they would ignore their most adorable little fans right. Yup, a true fan. Not opposed to pimping out my children for an autograph.

I'm trying to post a picture in the body of my reply in one of the forums . I've read the FAQ and I can't seem to find a 'button under the message box' that would allow me to add it in the body of my message. Am I missing something really obvious? I just want to post a live picture from the Chicago show...any help?

Yeah, I was so excited that I have a towel w/ Chrissy sweat and DNA! that I thanked you instead of Angie so I pm'd her an apology.....Anyway thanks to all girls that I think are the only ones who can relate to my cp obsession.... Also, I thought was weird that Jonny went to the "wrong" side during IMP. Chris was over by us going " uh, Jon, wtf?" and even sort of said "whatever" under his breath and now I'm sure it was on purpose. He's even standing sideways on the catwalk facing your sign.

Awwww Mel, thanks for the Lost Vid......Boohoo, It's torturing me that I don't see Chris with a black towel in his hand at that point when he takes off the jacket and then runs down into the crowd.....I'm still convincing myself that it IS his towel I picked up after he ran in front of us but, realistically it's probably one of the security guys that ran in front of HIM...eeewww, that means it was wet with roadie sweat! Thanks so much for posting that vid though...if only it was 15 seconds longer....

Pleeese help me find the owner of THE TOWEL !!!!!! Guys I really need some help....When the boys did their runner to the back of the auditorium, one of them dropped a sweaty black towel at my feet and I grabbed it!!! Unfortunately in the chaos I didn't see WHO exactly! My kids say Chris was using a black towel all night but I just don't know...Does anyone have video ater the the end of 2nd 'Lost', when they trotted down the catwalk and down the stairs for the runner. OK Jonny Girls, I am sooooooo happy for yall ! Persistance is THE key!!! My lame-o attempt at Chris stalking at the Ritz on Tue. night got me an upclose with Jimmy Bufet. Ick. I was so excited when the Black SUV pulled up in front of us. Then the back door opened... and out slid......... a tan blond hairy leg with Docksiders on ?..... I thought "well, this ain't gonna be Chris, it looks like Jimmy Buffet or something" ... then the bermuda shorts and hawaiian shirt and the face and tadaaa...it IS Jimmy Buffet. Bummer. Kinda funny but, Bummer

Squeeeeeeeeee Angie, Lori & Mel!!!!! I am having such a Coldplay Hang Over-- I know last time I posted to you girls about going to the show I was only going with my fanhubbie on Wed., but at 3:30 he drove downtown to the United Center and bought tickets to Last nights show for us & all 3 kids !!! And we got AMAZING front row seats at the top of the catwalk....When I heard Chris mention y'alls sign my husband said " that must be those crazy Jonny fans you were telling me about!!" I had a big poster that said "Viva La Coldplay" and Chris came over and looked straight at it and gave us a thumbs up....my 11 year old screamed like a banshee when that happened - the people around us gave us high fives and congrats etc! My husband was game for a little post show stalking so we drove over to the Ritz-C to check and see if the bar was open (it wasn't) but as we pulled up in front of the hotel we had to swing out a little wide to avoid a black SUV and out from the back pops..........................................Jimmy Buffet. Awwwwww, bummer. Not the celeb sighting we were hoping for. If you guys are still meeting preshow in front of the MJ statue let me know time etc. and we'll look for y'all tonight. Our seats are sec. 122 which is just beyond the catewalk, Front Row. I'm going to bring a banner that I can hang on the railing but I havn't thought of what to put on it yet...Any Thoughts? Maybe something clever to complement yours. Where are your seats? Holler back soon and hope to see y'all at the show....I cannot wait for another awesome night!!!!!!!!!!!!~~Kelly

Yeah...Crest of Waves happened to me like that, as did A Message....just suddenly fell IN LOVE with them after just sort of letting them slip through for a year. Right now, Moses is topping my list.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but why DO we love it so much that THEY obviously love each other so much? (For me I think it's the selfish wish that their friendship will be the glue that holds them together ?) Anyway, it makes me smile the same way it does when I see my hubbie cracking up from something his best friend says....

Melanie....Don't you love you have a little one that digs the same music....My 13 yr old doesn't like music of ANY kind....weird!...my 11 yr old just sort of likes almost anything... but my 7yr. old- he's my kindred spirit. Once, when he was 4, we were driving and I can't remember, Fix You or something equally sad CP song was playing, and I looked in the rearview and tears were streaming down HIS face! I thought Holy Hell, they can touch a 4 yr old who doesn't even understand the lyrics! I asked what was wrong and he said "nothing, that's just a weally sad song, isn't it"....He wishes he was coming to the show but it's hard to imagine a 200$ seat for a 7 yr old...

I'm 42 and a fan since my husband called me on vacation in Florida and said..."I just heard a song (Clocks) from this band that I really think your going to love...they're called Coldplay"....I now have become as obsessed with them as I was when I was about 19 and I kept boring my friends to death about this new band they had never heard of called U2 !!!

Chicago Crowd... I can't ditch my Hubbie! He loves Coldplay & is my favorite person to hang with at shows...He wouldn't go to the Ritz , but HE WOULD be willing to hang around at an exit for a chance to get a picture. Unfortunately, most bands fly out of a show and are in a van on the way to the hotel beofore anyone in the audience can even get out of an aisle -- maybe Coldplay is different.... I'd love to know if there is an exit we could count on... ~ Kelly PS ( I did ask my kids if they wanted to come & they each said no...thankfully for my wallet)

Wooohooo...It turns out I am going....they opened up some new seats on the Ticketmaster Auction and I got Sec.122, first row....Not front row floor, like I wanted , but it'll do ! Canceled my trip and everything! Sorry I won't be joining you in your Jonny stalking, my hubbie would get a little weirded out! ( PS-last show I'm almost sure they stayed at the Ritz because ages ago someone posted a story about spotting them there)

Hi Angie & Lori....2 girls that actually might be as crazy for Coldplay as I am !....ya wouldn't know it because I've only posted about 3 times here in my life but I check in w/ my Coldplaying.com every day and always laugh at your posts. I'm missing my hometown Chicago shows but I hope yall have a great time in Chi-Town and have an awesome time seeing the boys here live!!
