hahahahahahahaha that post made me laugh in the coldplay section and it makes me laugh here.

i was going to say pretty much this exact thing :lol: you sure do know how to create threads that take off, briggs. i like to think i'm not fangirly in this way, and i don't think i am. i don't think i'd be fangirly at all without this board--i never used to be like that :P. i like to think i'm healthily fangirly, if that's even possible :confused:

the problem is the site he used is down, the entire site itself. the other one only hosts the animation for a few hours, or so i understand. apparently, flash-hosting sites are extremely rare.

the fact that it's GUY that said "i couldn't say no to sarah palin" is what kills me--it's somehow expected from chris, but it's somehow much less expected from guy :P

yeah, semy tried to fix it earlier, and it worked for a few hours. i'll see if i can get him to work on it :D i don't know if there's anything he can do about it, though :\

i would say something like 90% of americans under 25 have facebook. that's a total guess, but it's so ridiculously popular here that if you DON'T have it, you're really weird :lol: (no offense to those americans on here that don't have it--this is just in my experience). i've had it for something like 3 years now. i first joined up when they started allowing highschoolers on (it used to be strictly for college/uni students). now they just let anyone on, which is interesting. you used to have to be invited by someone in your same school's network, and there didn't used to be any apps or anything. ahh, the good old days :P funny thing is, i know one of the original guys that started it up. not mark zuckerberg, but his best friend who helped him with it. he's my friend's older brother :D

haha, i wonder whether the "new look" thing is true. i mean, it's obviously not going to be waiter-ish, but i wonder if they're going to change up the look at all. frankly, i think it's about time. and YAY for straight-talk (mostly) from chris on the issue of retirement. maybe NOW people will stop going out of their skins. thanks for posting :D

i'm quite partial to chris's take on "have yourself a merry little christmas" and coldplay's versions of "2000 miles" and "last christmas" but i'd have to say "happy xmas (war is over)" too :santa: only a few more days until i'm allowed to get all christmassy! :dance:

^haha, you could probably personally deliver yours :P i just posted this in the other thread, but thought it was potentially informative: "we're still working on the STOP MAILING date, since that has to be determined with debs's consent. it all depends on the timeframe she plans to give the cards to the guys, and i assume once we know that, we'll say STOP sending them about a week before then :D international people can start sending about now, but if i were everyone, i'd wait till friday or saturday to send them just to be SURE they don't arrive to the PO box before december 1. after december 1, all systems are 100% go for everyone! we'll get back to everyone on a STOP MAILING date :wink:"

thanks guys :nice: i'm having SUCH problems printing out the obama card for some reason. it keeps printing half red :sad:. i'm working on it. here's the COVERLETTER which will be sent to debs (the first page of it, anyway, with the logo at the top. the second page just has the footer at the bottom, which says COLDPLAYING.COM and DESIGN BY SEMY INGLE)

here's my handmade one. i'm not all that thrilled with it, to be completely honest, but it's MUCH easier to read in real life rather than in this scan. glitter and shiny butterflies don't show up so well on a scanner :P it says "so come over, just be patient, and don't worry," if you couldn't tell. my message on the back refers to the lyric :D
