OMFG! :dance: NEW COLDPLAY MUSIC AGAIN. they're too good to us :bigcry:

i keep getting all sorts of nutso plans into my head about this :sneaky: i somehow want all of us to get in line together and link arms and RUN together so we'll all be in the same place. unrealistic, yes, but i can dream :P. i had such high hopes for the today show this summer being a coldplaying party, but i got there a bit too late and wasn't at the very front, and then by the time it was over and i wanted to say hi to everyone, they were shooing us away :sad:. it was more of a party with my mom and brother than coldplayers :P. i think that's why i want to make this a massive party :lol:

i think i'm going to post december 22 in the first post as the stop date, and then i'll change it/remove it if people disagree :wink: i'm getting too many questions about the stop date in my PM box :lol:

eek, sorry pris! i meant the STOP date; i just went in and corrected the post now. haha, exactly--i think lots of people are less likely to procrastinate if we set an actual deadline for sending.

^haha, i like that idea! don't know how realistic it is, necessarily, but it could work! :D and i was about 95% kidding about all of us letting each other go to the front...everyone else in line would KILL us! :lol:

if it takes sleeping outside, i'll sleep outside :P. i'll be living in london at that point, so that makes it somewhat easier. really, if i have the chance of getting front row again, i'm not passing it up :lol: do you think everyone else in line would murder us if we just let every coldplayer join the very front of the line? :sneaky: "anyone with a pre-purchased yellow "COLDPLAYING AT WEMBLEY" shirt and proof of username gets to the front of the line!" :lol:

debs already said that it was up to us entirely, and that she will pay the guys a visit in early january to drop off the cards if that's when we wanted her to do it :D (she's visiting them on december 11 and 12, she said, but that's much too soon). i think the ball is in our court now...i'm all for late december for the STOP date :D

that's really cool! :D i do hope people don't think that the point of this thread is to show off artistic abilities and make people feel inadequate :\. i meant it to be all about sharing the cards with each other so we can see all the prettiness, but people are saying things about being to embarrassed to post their cards or prefacing them with so many comments about how they're not worthy that i'm beginning to feel a bit guilty :P i sent off my two cards today, along with the letter to debs! i'll post the final photos tomorrow, but i think the lady at the post office thought i was insane. she chuckled at the george bush postcard, and was eyeing the logo on everything intently :lol:

i get do do my tree tomorrow :D it's early, but i go back to uni on sunday, and if i don't do it tomorrow, it won't get done because everyone else hates doing it, and it'll be too late by the time i get back. i really love tree-decorating, though :heart: i also bought two british christmas crackers from the british store today. i've never done them before, but i just had to buy them when i saw them. i have to brush up on these britishy things for next year :P but now i'm itching to crack them. i really, really want to, but alas...i must wait.

maybe it's because it's late, but i just about died laughing. and it's so pretty, anna! i have about 5 little black dresses and need to do some serious weeding through my closet, but there's one in particular that i'm completely in love with. not that i ever have anywhere to wear it anymore. prep school does have its opportunities to get dressed up, as you well know, yet college...not so much :P

dude, i didn't even know this was possible :stunned: i always feel guilty because i tend to shy away from helping out once it involves giving money or whatever. i tend to feel really iffy about giving money to beggars and all, because i don't know what they're going to do with it :\ however, i've given money to oxfam, the barack obama campaign (i don't really think that's a "charity," though), amnesty international, and maybe a few others. i've donated tons of things throughout my lifetime, and a hell of a lot of my time, which is always a nice thing. one of the best things i ever did was go to philadelphia for two weeks to work with recovering crack addicts. as for day-to-day stuff, though, i always hold doors, i tend to let people go ahead of me a lot when i'm driving or walking or standing in line, and i'm always as polite as i can be, because it costs me nothing and tends to make things a hell of a lot nicer :D

sesame street was my life for years. i was addicted, and it's basically how i learned english. but as i got older, i was a huge nickelodeon kid: rugrats, hey arnold, wild thornberries, all that, kablam!, doug, clarissa explains it all...the golden age of nickelodeon. i was also a HUGE pokemon fan. it was a problem. aaaand, i still watch spongebob :uhoh: it's one of the things i miss most when i'm at college.

a wembley DVD would pretty much make my life. well, if it has a tour diary section too :P i have a feeling, though, that if they're really going to do this, it'll be chicago or it'll be songs recorded all over the world, not just one concert from beginning to end.

i agree on waiting for more opinions, but i think we should set SOME date for people to stop sending by. people are confused enough already, and i can hear the deluge of PMs now: "if debs is giving the cards to the guys on _____, when should i send mine? i live in _____." :lol: i think it would just be helpful to a lot of people for us to say "send your card by _____." i think if we leave it indefinite, we'll just be asked when the deadline is over and over. and some of the more procrastinaty coldplayers might leave it too long and never get cards in :P

should i just post that in the first post, then? or do we want more opinions?

i'm so glad i know what make of stove, fridge and dishwasher jonny will be using :lol: :rolleyes: i also agree with everyone: publishing the address is nuts. maybe he's not as susceptable to stalking or paparazzi action as chris is, but it's still absolutely insane to publish the address like that. i like to pretend i'm a stalker when i post on here, but i sincerely hope no real stalkers get hold of that. for some reason, it took me a few moments to remember that jonny has a daughter and a very serious girlfriend. guess it's not so much of a bachelor pad after all--chloe will probably never let jonny have the guys round because she'd have to shush their giggling all night :P

:dance: i like this idea, realistic or not :P i fear that we'll all meet each other in the line/camp and make nice to each other, make lifelong friends, and the second they open the doors, we'll all turn feral and scramble over each other and knock each other down :lol: and then we'll stake our claim to spaces and be all nicey-nice again :P i know we have aaaaages before this concert, but i'm willing to organize/help organize whatever is needed: afterparties, banners, shirts, anything :D
