i'm more nervous about the winning, just because i know how fucking amazing it would be. i'll be very VERY sad if i don't win, but i'm still going, so i'll shut up fast :P today's been a brilliant day so far though: i found $1300 in a box under my bed! now, that either used up all my luck for today, or it's a good omen :D

surprisingly, i was able to sleep. i had crazy coldplay-themed dreams, but i was able to sleep after reading for about two hours to calm me down. i guess what's keeping me going is the fact that i'll be there anyway, somewhere, VIP or not. that's still something to TOTALLY look forward to :D i get more pessimistic as the minutes tick away, though.

ahh angie, that sounds GREAT!! i'm holding off on making my sign until i see if i win or not, because i dont think people could see the sign from the back, and i HOPE to see my friend tomorrow who bought me a shirt at MSG, but if i don't ill be making mine, which just has the VLV logo in red on it (though it looks like blood...:uhoh:) ahhhhhhh :confused:

i think i'm going to be sick with nerves, here.

@ tim: i know, that frustrates me too, but if coldplay were doing this in say, philly, which is really out of my way, i'd apply and figure out the details of getting there if i won. i can't really blame the people that do that, but it just gets frustrating for people that LIVE IN THE AREA and have no problem getting there. i'll be there either way, VIP passes or not, but...GAHH. @ angie: that is annoying. you shouldn't be barred from entry, no matter what! but at the same time...not many people are as devoted as you to fly to these places if they win! but us here, we all know you and know that you'd do ANYTHING to get ANYWHERE to see these boys, ian most of all :D

exactly. i hope ian's decisions are slightly swayed by the people he knows (or could find out) that would be going anyway, like me and you and yammy etc etc, so the tickets wouldn't go to waste. question: if ian has to submit the names to NBC, what happens if some generous coldplayer decides to give out their tickets that they won, but can't use?

i'm thinking LOTS applied. like 300, maybe more. i bet lots of those people just signed up to the board in the past two days and sent in a PM. while lots of those people might have very good reasons...i'm thinking that coldplaying seniority might play a role in here. might be small, might be large, but really...ian "knows" who we are, so i think that miiiiiight help things a tiny bit. i'm not letting that get my hopes up too high (or i'm trying not to), but if i were ian, i'd be wading through the hundreds of applicants, but my interest would really perk when a good reason was paired with a username and person i recognized. i also think that something like an MSG might be pulled...like only people in the tri-state area or other nearby states will be selected (besides angie, who's the longest coldplayer i've seen enter out of all of us ;)). i think ian has more sense than whatever computer selected the MSG winners though: i bet the computer that selected the MSG winners was only allowed to select certain zip codes for winners, whereas ian is picking based on things we actually WRITE as well as a more general sense of location (and perhaps how well he knows us?). all i know for sure is that i'm wetting myself, here.

haha, those gwyneth interviews and jon's other mention of his love for X&Y are what have made me want coldplay on that show for three years now. i cant believe they're actually going on!!!

ahh, well i'll be training in, but yes, the train tickets for three themselves will cost about $80 when all said and done. i think that's a freaking BARGAIN for what i could potentially get for that...OMG. i MUST STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS. i'm driving myself insane. and i'm setting myself up for disappointment.
