  1. despite it being the wrong thread...i STILL love that shirt! :D wonder how many years chris is going to be wearing that little number...i see the cargo pants are still going strong :P and i don't think chris's brother looks anything like him... but YAY for chris learning how to use a razor! he looks as young as the parachutes years :nice:
  2. note to self: name firstborn son zoroaster. :P guava...not so much. sorry, semy :laugh4:
  3. i also must say that i love that shirt chris has on :D
  4. i still am astonished that they've never had a UK #1 until now. i mean, i know it's true, obviously, but i just find it quite hard to believe :P all the same:    (and i'm especially happy that it's VLV over VH :D)
  5. :laugh4: well, i was going for religious figures, but i wanted to steer clear of jesus or mohammed :P the fact that the nickname would be zoro is interesting...:D
  6. can you imagine them naming the kid emily or benjamin or something like that? phhhh. frankly, i'd be disappointed :P. i'm thinking guava for a girl or zoroaster for a boy :D in all seriousness, though, if this is true, i'm quite interested in what they would name him or her. i love untraditional names (albeit ones that aren't usually foods or very prominent religious figures :P), and even though i think it's a bit like double-branding a celebrity kid by tacking a really distinctive name on them...i think they've picked fairly nice ones so far :uhoh:
  7. as much as i love VLVOD, i completely agree. i've had the entire coldplay catalogue on shuffle for the past few days and...i find myself a bit nostalgic for the old days. it was so beautiful in its simplicity. VLVOD is beautiful too, but not in the same way. i love everything that they've done, but i do really wonder what they'd sound like if they didn't change so much and get so big...
  8. ok, i had the most INSANE dream last night regarding this whole pregnancy question. basically, the question of gwyneth's pregnancy was so serious and unknown that the world order deteriorated into two groups: the ones that thought she was pregnant and the ones that thought she wasn't pregnant. and it was like WWIII, i swear. this is what i get for going on CPing and reading children of men before going to bed
  9. despite having read the article, i've never seen that photo at the top before...hmm. i'm hoping it's old so it doesn't add any more fuel to all the flames that are out there right now.
  10. unfortunately, i can't fix it right now by removing the philly concert and adding the letterman appearance because my computer is toast, though hopefully only temporarily
  11. oh goodness, how could i forget jude law?! and i was quite partial to daniel radcliffe when i was in middle school :P
  12. speed of sound is what made me fall completely in love, but i had heard in my place, clocks, yellow, and don't panic before without knowing they were coldplay or even all by the same band. i thought they were good songs (well, don't panic i didn't like so much...it freaked me out), but it just wasnt the right time for me to get into coldplay then :P
  13. i'll be the first, then, but i might edit it later :D 1. see you soon 2. shiver 3. the scientist 4. strawberry swing 5. clocks 6. viva la vida 7. warning sign 8. swallowed in the sea 9. amsterdam 10. i ran away 11. sleeping sun 12. lovers in japan (if alternate versions counted, i would say acoustic!) 13. in my place 14. a message 15. don't panic 16. yellow 17. spies 18. the world turned upside down 19. speed of sound 20. careful where you stand 21. moses 22. lost! 23. ladder to the sun!! 24. daylight 25. square one i feel like i'm missing some biggies...
  14. next thursday for the daily show! :D i'm so inordinately pumped that it's almost embarrassing, but i've been wanting them to be on that show since june 2005.
  15. most of the female american population has a crush on jim halpert, the fictional character. it's like a contagious disease. you can't watch the american version of the office and NOT fall in love. seriously!
  16. the more i think about it, the more i'm convinced it's a stupid rumor. then again, if it turns out to be true, i wouldn't be surprised at all. two of those pictures look quite baby-bumpish to me, but also could just as easily be something else. either way, we'll know by next month or so, won't we? assuming there are pictures and it's true, any farther and it won't be possible to hide or say that it's something else.
  17. i like CSC better than yes, LIJ better than ROL, and DAAHF and the escapist about equally. i like CSC quite a lot, actually, which surprises me.
  18. oh, and HELL-OOO john krasinski, who plays jim on the american version of the office. but really on jim more than john...YES, i have a crush on a fictional character :P
  19. add me to simon pegg as well! :P and before i joined up here (quite a while ago...), i counted chris martin as a weird celebrity crush because i didn't know why i liked him, really: not really "my type," almost no hair, danced like a fool. now i don't count him as a "weird" celebrity crush...i think i just needed to see other people thought he was awesome as well. :D also, jake gyllenhaal, but that's not all that weird. i guess i'm just predictable.
  20. i've heard the izod center is total crap, but this is my only chance to see them so i'm going. even though i'm heartbroken about missing CT, i'm stoked about seeing them ANYWHERE, even in nosebleed seats. and all you guys are going too!? justin, anna?! i think this is going to rock :D. now to work out how i get there...that could get interesting.
  21. someone please record? :shy: i'll be out of the country for both of those appearances
  22. i have several for both categories, actually, but i'll pick two for now: OVERRATED: how you see the world UNDERRATED: see you soon
  23. yesssss. that was easier than i thought :D section 210...high up, but its a side view and NOT BEHIND THE STAGE!!! whoooo, i feel better now
  24. hmm. i don't know what to think about all this. i tend to believe she's not preggers, just because i don't easily believe in these tabloid-started rumors, but...there seems to be a bit of a bump there to me. as for the tour...sometimes you can't plan these things the way you'd like to. i wouldn't be surprised at all, really. anddddd if it's true, i hate to say that i've been kind of wanting them to have another kid simply to see what they'd name him or her :P
  25. thanks! :D i've never not gotten tickets before, and i've done this literally hundreds of times, but i just have this bad feeling...eeek. the thing is, if i can't get reasonably priced tickets tomorrow (meaning anything from official vendors...those are reasonably priced), i'm just going to end up spending hunks of money i don't have on tickets on stubhub or something...NOT good. anyway, sorry :P
