  1. I'm wondering how long it'll take untill some pop up on ebay
  2. I'm going to fill it in. Who knows. Perhaps it'll give me a message that it's sold out, but one can only try right?
  3. is it normal that when I click single seats Newcastle now that I get to the ordering page but on top it says 'sold out'
  4. I'll meet him again ! I'm sure :smug:
  5. There's a little independant store with a lot of Coldplay promo's and vinyl in ghent here: http://www.vynilla.be/ (It's about 5 mins walking from Musicmania) You won't find anything on the website (except for the adress and opening hours). It's a real small store and you'll have to look everywhere because the organisation of the store is a bit choatic and you can find them a bit everywhere. And yes, the fair is pretty soon! I always go, and have always come back with something. Sometimes you can do bargains there, sometimes it's overpriced. But if you don't have a big collection just yet, you'll find a lot of the standard promo's and stuff in those 2 places. Good luck ! Edit: oh they have got quite a lot of oasis there too !
  6. Mostly small independant little stores. No big cd stores. Unless you just want the standard/single versions of course. But for more rare stuff, those little stores are perfect. In Ghent I know a little store who's got a lot of promo's (none that I don't have though :P), but I aslo found a What If copy there. If you're looking for rare cd singles (of almost every artist imaginable), you should check out cd faires. For Belgium these are the most known: http://www.kdx.be/nl/beursdata.php
  7. I swear, one day I'll have saved up enough money to buy one!
  8. Indeed you do, pretty little Belgium  Mostly Ebay, sometimes I get lucky in stores or faires. But internet is the biggest source for me.
  9. He was lying though ! He could've played some of his solo songs, that would've been awesome
  10. Lucky, lucky you ! Did some new purches the last couple of weeks and by the end of the week I'll have 183 releases :smug:
  11. I think they just played the album in chronological order :P I can't say for sure since I didn't know any of the songs they played, but the audience asked for an encore and I remember him saying: that's all the songs we know
  12. best thing to do. I mean, I'm interested in buying that, as a lot of people in here. But everyone has got a fair chance at it on ebay. + you'll probably get the best price out of it that way. FYI the last 2 safety Ep's on ebay went for an average selling price of 1406 euros ( = 1,191.63 GBP or 1,919.92 USD )
  13. Here it is when you're younger than 10. Well at least that was the rule in my days, maybe they changed that
  14. They were going to play a free concert in Ghent, and then they became all famous, but still did the concert for free (free Bon Iver concert, can you belive that? ). I hadn't heard about him but a friend of mine, whose music taste is almost the same as mine asked me to join him. I was flabergasted! I remember being blow away from beginning to end. And after the concert they stayed at their tshirt/cd stand and signed some stuff. And about Roslyn: indeed one of their best songs, but why oh why is it on a Twilight soundtrack :inquisitive: It just doens't make ant sence. But I'm comforted by the fact taht all those fan girls subconsciously get a taste of what good music really is all about !
  15. It really does. BUT ! I still got a signed 12" of For Emma, Forever Ago to remind me of the fact that I met this genious :D
  16. I like the myspace transition of For Emma more than this one. Either way: this man is such a great artist! I've regret it a lot that I only found this out AFTER meeting him in person
  17. I I I I I'm in ! I think 100 posts is a good limit. Lazy people don't posts 100 posts for no reason
  18. Fights are going to happen for these tickets I think :P It'll be a 'who's-got-the-most-friends-on-coldplaying-thingie'
  19. Good plan ! I think they'll probably be able to buy at least 2 tickets/person
  20. Aaargh I wanna go !!! I'm going to check if it's possible to get there. If it's legit to buy more than 1/ person, will someone make me the happiest girl in the world ? :p Because obviously, the tickets they'll be selling with the coldplay.com code will be sold out in about 2.35 seconds
  21. Pff they're handing out free Mince Spies copies :\ I want one ! And of course to meet the band like you guys did would be all :o
  22. Clocks during the X&Y era was awesome
  23. He gave you Mince Spies?? I've been collecting for over 4 years and even I didn't manage to get my hands on one. You guys are way too lucky :laugh3:
  24. Well I really can't confirm it, all I have is this vague memory of seeing one pass on ebay. I could be totally wrong about it, but the image of it is stuck in my head (just the same with a Lovers In Japan 7" vinyl version) I'm not going to say that I'm 100% sure about it, but even if they released it as a radio only release, there had to be a promo of some sort.
