X&Y is a good album, just doesn't quite hold up compared to the other two. As for the new album, I think it'll be a little more solid, definitely. I just hope that it's out with a year and half or so, when The Killers have run their course with Sam's Town.

i probably will realize how stupid everything i write is when i read it later, but for now, it's immensely helpful.

Personally, I love Sgt. Pepper's. It's a fantastic piece of work, as are The White Album and Abbey Road. SPLHCB is simply in a league of its own; nothing before or since has sounded quite like it.
