Well im going to get it eventually, but i don't know WHEN. I can either a) pre-order and not have to worry about running out to the store June 16 or b) run out to the store June 16. And I kind of don't want to pay for something i can't listen to for another month. :confused:

I would have made it a longer song, honestly. :P A couple of more versus, but Coldplay said they wanted a shorter album so there you go. And the opening might be cut from the vid/radio because it's so long.

That's one of the first bands i thought of when i first heard VH. The chorus is very arcade fire-esque. :nice: I love them.

I was thinking of that earlier too. :stunned: I was hopping around my room punching my fists in the air and doing the devil horns...to Coldplay. :P I was trying to explain the song to my friend and it went something like, "It's like muse-arcade fire-coldplay-esque." :P

I don't have a record player so i didn't see the point in ordering NME. :cry: So im counting on you guys!! haha But I won't be as impatient to hear this one. After a band releases the first single it's easier to wait because you have something to preoccupy you in the meantime. :)

It's been an hour and i still haven't gotten it. I got it from other sources :P but i still kind of want the official thing so i don't feel as guilty. But then again they're giving it away for free.

Oh, i can explain it now. Most of their lyrics are like sad and have a hurt feeling, like someone wounded him. But these are a lot edgier; it's like he's still hurting but it turned into resentment. I don't want to psychoanalyze this song right now. I'll shut up.

I personally think it's great. And if this is what the whole album's going to be like, than it might be my favorite of the 4. I love the raw edginess. And it's seems like Chris' lyrics have matured and...i can't explain it....just know that I think the lyrics are great. :D

Im not aware of Eno's other work, i should check it out so i can properly debate these things with you. :P But when Chris Martin said that there was going to be less/no piano and falsetto people flipped out! Those are the things we like from Coldplay. Sure, we want something different, but we still want to be able to identify them. Those are the things that make their sound special. I just think people expected to much.

I'm not gonna cry. :P Everyone ELSE seems to want to though, HOLD ON PEOPLE. It's one song; if you like it or not you can't deny that they're not trying to expand and grow. Give them some credit.

I'll be honest, the first time i heard this song i was like, "Huh? :confused:" I wasn't really paying attention because i had to leave for school that second, and it was hard to concentrate on the melodies and etc. But it's definately growing on me. It's full of resentment and agnst, and im a teenager so i know all of those things quite well. :P But im tired of people complaining about it. It's one song. The total number of songs from their first 3 LPs is 32/ 33 counting Kingdom Come. And I'll tell you right now that I don't like ALL of them. Reserve judgment until you get the whole 4th LP.
