Youth Group and The Living End are Australian bands - Living End are more worldly famous..but Youth Group supported Coldplay and you'd probably know them for the song 'Forever Young'. Sarah Blasko is also Australian.

Coldplay - LP4 Keane - LP3 Sarah Blasko - LP3 Travis - LP6 Youth Group and The Living End are also releasing new albums.

They will have their own sound. This is coldplay, I highly doubt that they will dish out copied shit for their fourth album. It doesn't follow with their personalities. All these names sound so amazing and I'm dying to hear it all. 65 days to go!!!

I picked 42...but I'm not ruling out Violet Hill...as it was supposedly going to be a promo. So maybe they thought it was good enough to go on the album and be a first single? I think it's interesting about having Lovers/Reign as a 2nd single. Although, i think it's too early to speculate over that, when there is so much to happen before the 2nd single. However, this is the song I want to hear the most, and I want to know what the deal is with the double name... ..maybe it's like "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi"??

I love reading about what songs sound like...makes me want to hear them soo much!!! And its gonna be great when we finally do hear them and can go "Oooohhh yeeaahh....it does sound like that!!" In the same breath, I don't always like too much description, because just hearing it from scratch with no expectations is always good too. Ah well, I CAN'T WAIT!!! YAYY!!!! so pumped right now

I think they all started around the same time, with people not knowing bout the others til afterwards. Why? Because everyone is excited I guess!

So, are "Lovers in Japan" and "Reign of Love" the same song? or 2 different ones????? Cos I was always looking forward to hearing Reign of Love, now even more so, because there is a twist to it!! Cannot wait! I love the tracklisting...looks so diverse but still running with a theme. Gives us something to ponder over now as well. Exciting times lay ahead Coldplayers!!

I was thinking the same thing, but I also think that they might not include it, just because it wasn't specifically written for the album. *shrugs* who knows, spose we'll find out soon enough.

Yeh SOS was released 23rd May? I believe. But was out on the website and on radio a tad before that...18th April. So....X&Y was also a June release, therefore...assuming things are going to be the same...something will happen soonish (thinks 18th of April...7 days away).

It does look like a beautiful place! They probably went for a holiday to get away from the pressure of having finally released a date and tracklisting. I remember Chris saying (probably more than once) about previous albums how this was always the most stressful time for him, when he can't do anything about it but wait. ..and it just happens to be Guy's birthday...so maybe it is for both occasions.

Wow...when you think that it'll be out in 2months, it doesnt seem that far away does it?!? And the single will be out before then...and "a couple tracks".....o the excitementness!!!!

Sorry!! Don't get me wrong, I'm overwhelmed with happiness! Coldplay is being blasted by my speakers as we speak in celebration. I was just curious, and to be honest, I don't really care - I'm content with what news we have for now.

hahahaha!! I checked the site and the new star hadnt appeared. I clicked on 2008 anyway just to check, but it was taking to long to load..so I was like "stuff it". And straight after I posted my previous post I check it again...sure enough. Yay!!!

...finally. Violet Hill appears on the album....hmm, looks like it's not gonna be a Promo anymore. Also, is it worth noticing that Prospekt titled the album "Viva La Vida"....or dyu think that was just shortened from the proper title?

Freaking Hell!!!! Another day passes without a new entry. This is killing me!! Why is it taking sooo long!

If anyone can find any of the articles which mention Chris' Jazzmaster and the story behind it, can they post a link here??

Either they're really busy or changing something...or theyre just slack lol. Or maybe they just enjoy seeing us become more and more impatient..

Where did you hear that the Jazzmaster belongs to Chris??? All I know is that Will gave Jonny a guitar when he became drummer, I can't remember which one though...I think it was the blue tele.

*cries* Why is it taking so long?!?! I'm sick and tired of checking the site and seeing nothing new. Surely by the end of this week.

They released a new video on their website a couple days ago. It's such a take off of Coldplay's VivaLaVida video...just a lot shieter lol.

Will it only come out in the UK? Or is it just being released there first? The website doesn't have too much information either.
