The interesting thing about the leaked snippet is that the person decided to showcase two different parts of the song, it's not totally continuous.

Off topic question: what is the relation between Coldplaying and the Discord forum? I signed up to the discord forum because Coldplaying recommended it, but I am amazed by the level of confrontation in that forum. Things are very civilized here, especially in comparison to other eras. I like it much better

It is no secret that we will be able to hear the album before November 22. My guess is that it will leak on November 15th!

Very strange Instagram ad. And the fact that band representatives requested the tweets to be deleted confirms their veracity. That the songs are from other eras and have been reworked is a plausible theory. But I do think they will be new songs. For example, we have Rik Simpson’s tweet saying he has been working on this album for the past two years. Very unlikely that would have been the case if the album is simply alternative versions of already released songs.

The fact that the artwork and track list was published by two Amazon stores and then taken down pretty much confirms that they will be the official album cover and tracklist. Doesn’t seem that Trouble In Town will be a cover!

I would not like a covers album! I do believe the band has a lot more to give. The sunrise/sunset concept could be a great compromise between the half of the band that likes to take a more pop direction (Chris & J) and the other half (Guy & W) who prefer a more hi-fi, electronic and soft rock approach.

My hunch is that the first single will be Trouble in Town, track 3 of the Sunrise disc.

This is pretty exciting! We are getting new music this Thursday!!!

I guess the Sunset song is track 6 of the second disc. And it will only be a symbol.

One of the best music releases of 2019 is Nick Cave and the Bad Seed's double album, Ghosteen. Hopefully the boys can up the ante.
