I really like this song. Probably one of my favorites from EL. I just wish the lyric at the beginning said "Jonny" instead of "Tony". Can you imagine? A song directly homaging Buckin' love! BTW: Who's Tony?

Coldplay's highest rated album in Pitchfork is Mylo. They even destroyed AROBTTH and Parachutes. Although I consult the site every week, I am not really expecting a fair assessment from Pitchfork since they have a against-mainstream bias.

WOTW/POTP had a lot of potential. It is a shame it was included in demo form.

The album has some great gems. Some moments are weaker. On first listen, here is my ranking of the best songs: - Daddy - Champion of the World - Trouble in Town - Old Friends - Eko - Guns - Sunrise - Bani Adam

My favorites so far: Sunrise Trouble In Town Daddy. (the best one so far). Right now listening to Orphans.

It’s like we are in the GS era. I remember Chris saying that the album was not fit for a full tour but some of the songs would eventually fit on a future tour, like they did on the AHFOD era.

BTW, I totally concur with the deja vu argument and it worries me. Even on the radio.com interview, Chris is basically repeating his speech for the Ghost Stories era. Insecurity, people’s opinions against the band and that he no longer cares.
