  1. Well I didn't get any Coldplay Christmas presents but my friend just called round with my birthday present and she got me a Coldplay whateverittakes.org mug which is beautiful and much too nice to use. The boys designed it themselves. They do matching plates, mousemats etc apparently.
  2. If it was Kings of Leon my daughters (who hate Coldplay) would be all for coming with me!
  3. scusi replied to Jenjie's topic in Coldplay
I can't wait!!! That "row" between Chris and Guy is a bit like the arguments that get written on the fanfiction thread!
  4. I did send two postcards about two weeks ago but I didn't put them on here to show as I don't have a scanner or a digital camera and they weren't home made cards or anything special really. One was a "Christmas greetings from Falmouth" one and I wrote and said that I first saw them at a tiny venue 11 miles from here and that I realise there's probably no chance of them coming back here now and how their music has helped me through a very difficult time etc. The other one was a postcard I bought in Paris, just a normal touristy card and I said how brilliant the two Paris gigs were that I went to back in September and how glad I was that Chris thought they were the best gigs of the tour too. Basically I did a lot of thanking and praising them. I wish I was more artistic, I can knit but didn't think a knitted postcard would work somehow!
  5. And big socks too!!
  6. When you're watching the new Wallace and Gromit episode " A matter of loaf and death" and all you can think about is the other Bakery!
  7. Maybe Jonny took the picture!! Cool yule to you all non cool people!!
  8. The nearest I got to anything Coldplay related was drinking a " glass of water "and watching them on Top of the Pops. My whole family hate Coldplay! I wish they made an official calendar, I would have bought myself one of those definitely.
  9. My sister always thought Amsterdam was called "Cause for concern" when she first heard it on the album.
  10. Hi, I've just got back from all day in Oxford street so I'm shattered but I wanted to say what a brilliant gig it was last night, everyone was standing and dancing in my section but it was hard to see what it was like elsewhere. I noticed how you couldn't hear much crowd singing though, maybe it was the acoustics, I was also sitting "back stage" more or less, right above ( front row of the section but about 20 feet up with a sheer drop below me and just a little barrier!) the roadies section Guy's side and behind most of the speakers. It was weird looking down at all the boxes, laptops, wires, cables, guitar cases, people under the stage etc. On of the hard hats said "help" on it! I couldn't hear a single word Chris said, it was really muffled.. We got a brilliant view of the action behind the curtain at the start though, what the roadies get up to during the concerts etc. I was also right above the section where the boys came onto the stage and saw them coming out from the gap and up the stairs. I saw the bloke (in a red T shirt) run across the stage when they went off, he grabbed Chris who slipped away from him and then the security guy (kelly?) came out from behind the curtain to help but the bloke had run back off by then. I also wanted to ask, if anyone got any butterflies that they could please send me, I'd be really grateful, we didn't get any in our section at all as we were too far over and I got two squashed ones outside by the tube but that was it. Please Pm me if you can. Chavi so kindly sent me some from Paris in September. It was brilliant to see "our" mobile light show on the balls during the VLV remix but no-one took up the challenge to try and do it again last night did they? Chavi, Mark etc, after looking at your photos I'm sure I walked right past you on my way to the section I was in. I wish I'd come and said hello, I thought it might have been you. Sorry.
  11. Wow, this is brilliant, thanks guys, I can't wait until Tuesday now. Did they play COL do you know?
  12. I'm hoping Cemeteries of London will make a comeback at the O2, it was brilliant in Paris and is my favourite song off the album.
  13. I'm in block 114, is that out in the toilets or just looking at the back of Will's head? I'm not sure about meeting up first, I should know nearer the day. I don't really even know who is going with me yet!
  14. Yes, I agree, it is nice. I like the blanket too but it's quite expensive.
  15. You could easily make your own letter bracelets, you can buy packets of beads just like that and thread them onto a string/leather thong. There are lots of bead suppliers online, try a search for beads, letters.
  16. My tickets for next Tuesday have just arrived so SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
  17. My tickets have just arrived so I'm allowed to start getting excited now! Mind you it looks like we're right behind the stage but still, at least I'm there!
  18. I haven't got mine for 16th yet from Premier tickets, he said they are "starting to get them through from O2 and should be posted early next week." I'm not sure if Ticketmaster are in the same position.
  19. I just adore their version of Romeo and Juliette!
  20. Besides Coldplay I love: U2 The Verve Ash Manic Street Preachers Editors The Killers Snow Patrol Arcade Fire Domino State Roxy Music Simple Minds I used to be a massive Oasis fan in the 90s but not so much now.
