  6. Another quick bit before I go back yet again to London to catch the train home... When we got across the road and joined the throng Chris said "Thanks for waiting out here in the cold for so long" Bless him, I would have waited all night. :D Much much later when we were waiting for the taxi and the crew were coming out with their suitcases etc Anna spotted Hoppy so we called out to him and he looked surprised that we knew his name but pleased when we said "great gig!" and I nearly knocked Neil Tennant over in my rush to the other end of the building to see The Killers coming out. Right, more later!!
  7. You blow it girl!
  8. Oooh Kirsten, you're making me remember it all again, he was so lovely. Me and Anna nearly got killed running across the road and Chris said "don't get run over now" and he said he had to go soon as it was "tea time" then I went round to his left side cos I know he writes with his left hand and just kind of eased my map of Camden and pen into his hand getting a good old touch of it at the same time. When he'd signed "love Chris" (Squeeeeeeeeeee ), he was just about to use my pen for the next person but then gave it back to me (another touch, oops it's so hard to take a pen) and took their's instead. I was also touching his arm throughout all this. He said "did you enjoy the encore" everyone agreed and I said it was great, "all my best three boys on stage together "(meaning Chris, Brandon and Bono) and he laughed, I'm hoping he thought I said my three best bands not boys. I can't believe I said that! Then he said he had to get home, he said goodbye and we all thanked him and he was in the car and gone! We were then there on cloud 9 for about another hour until we got a taxi organised along with the help of a nice kind policeman. We got to the hotel gone 4am. I sort of forgot about the paps and couldn't believe the photos on the websites that emerged, talk about glam, I look dreadful but who cares! My kids are well impressed. I shall never forget it as long as I live.
  9. It wasn't 10 minutes it was ages after you left, like about 3am. at 2.50 Anna and I agreed that we would wait 10 more minutes then go and then it all happened. When I get home tomorrow I am going to spam this site with reviews etc. I'm still in dreamland. I'm writing it all down in a notebook so I don't forget any details when I'm on the train for 7 hours tomorrow!
  10. Well done, glad you made it safe and sound, it was brilliant to meet you and Lori along with everyone else. I'll never forget you dragging that poor guy out of the estate agents to take our pictures! I won't be home until tomorrow night and it's tricky using the computer here at my parents so I can't wait to get home and download all the goodies. My daughters are wetting themselves back at home because I made it onto "proper pap sites!"
  11. I'm so sorry but I can't keep awake just now to type anything, I had to spend all day in Oxford Street with my son and haven't slept for I don't know how long and walked about a million miles but it was so worth it and am on my Dad's computer to add to it, all I can say is, OMG what a gig and I met Chris after nearly 10 years!! I'll be back ( and I was papped!!) And you are all lovely. XXX
  12. I've got the plate, the mug and the mousemat!!
  13. I think they should have saved my "Christmas greetings from Falmouth " one until next year! Haha I wondered where the card was for when Chris said that was going to be the next place they would tour and then Will swore at the result! Norwich!!
  14. Thanks for the text Kirsten! I just managed to get on here at last! What an amazing video, didn't see mine but one of mine was from Paris so maybe that was one of the ones mentioned. Thank you so much for organising this and thanks especially to you Debs for delivering them, arranging the video and telling us the little story behind it. It's made my day!!!
  15. And the Rainbow theatre where it was supposed to be filmed has been closed for about 25 years, I saw Roxy Music there in 1973 , just after Eno left, OMG age showing!
  16. About time too! In The Sun article today it says Coldplay star Chris Martin's wife blah blah blah. A photo of her in leather shorts too!
  17. Why don't you ask the Oracle?
  18. I'll be at my parents house by Monday but thank God my dad has broadband... Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  19. Phil looked like he was whispering in Chris's ear in that 3rd GIF, wonder what he said, it made him smille even more.
  20. Oh wow, they are amazing books, we never get anything like that over here.
