I forgot about Calvin and Hobbes! My older brother waayyy back used to love that comic strip. It was defintely his favorite. Seeing this thread brings back memories of when I was little and watching him reading and laughing at the comic. :lol:

Are you talking about the organ-ey sound playing when the band is stepping on stage? I didn't think that was an actual song, just something Coldplay came up with as a neat opener. That's pretty cool that its an actual song. I'll have to check it out. :D

I don't even want to think of a situation where Parachutes didn't exist. :o I love both AROBTTH and Parachutes equally. I don't compare the two, saying ones better than the other because both are two totally different albums that can't be compared. But back to the question: I don't think Coldplay could've made AROBTTH w/o Parachutes being their first album. I remember reading somewhere Chris stating that AROBTTH was made while touring for Parachutes and their inspiration for the album came from listening to all sorts of music while out on the road. I think the songs also came from inspiration of being all over the world while on tour, as well. So I think it would've been impossible AROBTTH to have been made w/o Parachutes.

Really? I've never seen it in any setlists. That's great if they've played it. I always thought that the song didn't get the attention its derserves.

I don't think Chris is the one with the problem. He probably is just as nice as ever. And the rumors of Gwyneth's behavior are probably exagerated a bit. But reading something like that and a possibility of it being true gets you kind of questioning, thats all. :) I hope its not true because that would be really sad. :sad:

If those things are true about Gwyneth, then she needs to get a grip!!! The world doesn't revolve around you sweetie just because you're some Hollywood starlette. :roll: I never really had a problem w/ Chris and Gwyn, but after reading that and wondering if its true, I'd agree that she needs to go.

I'm going through withdrawl already and 'A Rush...' hasn't even been out for an entire year yet. :lol: I'm just glad that Coldplay performs new material at concerts and people record it so I'm able to download it. Otherwise I might go nuts! :eyecrazy: :lol:
