There's always a song in every album after AROBTTH that is AROBTTH-esque but never is. I think my expectation is too high. 😄

You can never know what the future holds. There are bands who have stopped making music and then 10 years later, come back with an album. I'm just glad they are not stopping completely. If they are still touring and making some music, there's always hope that a full LP might be in the cards. I'm just surprise that they want to continue touring actually. I would have thought that they would slow it down and enjoy what they have achieved after album 12. I see Chris doing a lot of different collaborations with other artists for awhile before making something 'full' with the rest of the band.

Is there a way to listen to this? I know it's been released with the FIFA game but unsure if the song has been released elsewhere.

I hope one of the things they do after album 12 is that reworked X&Y.

Not sure what time it'll be on Spotify in NZ (usually around mid-day for us) but I'll be checking and listening to it at work. 😄 Then in the car on the way home. Then at home on proper speakers.

Isn't vagueness to lyrics a good thing? It invokes different discussions and listeners to interpret the song however they want. That's what good music should do. I agree that most of the lyrics to the NewPlay songs aren't quite what you class poetry but if it invokes a discussion from fans, I think it's a win.

How does one pre-save the song? It's was in Coldplay's story but I can't find the pre-save on Spotify.

Just me but I haven't been thrilled with a slow Coldplay song in ages. This isn't an exception unfortunately.

I don't like rap and I don't like rap with Coldplay but really like this song. The two singles released so far is waayyy better than the ones for MOTS.

Besides the glastonbury version, what other versions will be on the CD? Sorry, been out of the loop around this.

I love it! Sounds better than the live version. I'm not a fan of rap together with Coldplay so that part was the lowest point - why I never liked the Jay-Z Lost version! Interesting how the next song played on Spotify was People by Libianca! 😄 That and Calm Down might go well together. Hahaha.

I haven't listened to it much since Glastonbury as I made the mistake with MX by listening to all the live versions and when the album came out, it fell flat (not that it wasn't good on the album, just that I wasn't surprise by the songs). Anyway, from what I can remember it has a bit of Arabesque vibes too which makes me excited about the studio version. I absolutely adore Arabesque and the band really need to do more of it!

I might be one of the handful who is excited about We Pray. I really enjoyed what I heard at Glastonbury. 😄
