  1. The two albums includes MM or another 2 albums after MM?
  2. Could always do a darker version of the current theme I think. It just annoys me that it's not uniform! 😄
  3. Why isn't the cover for the We Pray single following the MM theme? How odd.
  4. Don't think you're comparing the right songs. 😄
  5. Hmm, don't get the hate for We Pray. Or all the other songs we haven't heard yet...
  6. Lyrics haven't been stellar in MotS so I think it'll be the same for MM as well. 😄 This is a follow up of MotS after all and not EL. Heh.
  7. That video brought new light to the song I think! WOW. Was not what I was expecting - where was the ferris wheel??😄 The appearance of the band gave me GPASUYF feels. The only thing that was jarring was the quiet/fade out bit before the big chorus. Thought it was my audio playing up. Don't quite understand the purpose of that.
  8. Sounds like Moon Music is going to be another mish-mash album like MotS, which I'm not really a fan of. With that said, I'm liking both songs I've heard so far (We Pray and FLIFIL) which is a big plus as My Universe and Higher Power was meh to me.
  9. First time hearing We Pray. Different but I like it!
  10. NICEEEEE. I miss hearing this live! 😁
  11. Sorry if i missed this but any theories on why there are no spacings in the titles?
  12. Was pleasantly surprise by this single. From the snippet/chorus we’ve had, I didn’t think much of it. Wasn’t expecting the song to be softer, calmer. The ending was odd though. Surely it’s some sort of musical interlude to the next song on the album.
  13. Oh that's good to know that they are asking. Thanks for that!
  14. Hey guys. Not sure if this was mention before. But do you know if the band/event organizers are going to require people to be vaccinated to attend these concerts? I know some bands are doing it so just wondering if this is something Coldplay and/or management will do it as well.
  15. Yup. I think they could have improved a lot on the songs to match the theme. They really missed the mark on this one.
  16. Just because you have a few lines in a couple of songs doesn't make it space themed. It's like saying the album theme is colour because you have Chris singing about colours. And most of the spacey atmospheric sounds are an after thought slapped on in the interludes. It comes across as lazy to me. ?‍♀️
  17. So after a week of listening to this, these are my thoughts: Ok, MotS is better than AHFOD but only because the songs are better individually. Conceptually, AHFOD wins because you know exactly what the theme of that album is. I don't for MotS. There is nothing in the songs that has anything to do with space or aliens or planets. Maybe just the one or two? But that isn't enough to establish a theme. I mean, why come up with the planets, language, etc and have nothing to do with it in the songs? The songs are so diverse that it makes the album so messy. It sounds more like a greatest hits album. On it's own the songs are great but together they don't make sense. (Reminds me very much of the English football team - one their own playing for their own club, they are great when they all come together, the England team aren't very good. Ha!) The interludes are a waste of space and time on their album. It doesn't flow well into the next song. The duets are fine but not necessary. Still can't stand MU and I'm skipping that song everytime. Lol. I enjoyed this album sure - there are some great songs in there. After EL, I was prepared to be disappointed (and I was). And after the release of MU, I knew I was going to dislike the album (but I didn't). So I'm not sure where I stand with this one. Definitely in my bottom 3 albums but I feel like I can't say that because you have songs like PotP and Coloratua on it! Haha. *my thoughts are everywhere and I'm doing this at work so forgive the ramble.
  18. Original? Meaning Life is Beautiful? I'm not a fan of LiB. So I would be happy if it doesn't morph to that in the next album. This one is waaaay better.
  19. What is up with all these remixes in this era.
  20. I think it's a hint to Vol.2...
  21. Yeah but I think it should be an accompaniment and not a duet...
  22. So I can see why Orphans was left out of this album. But how was it meant for this album in the first place? Haha.
  23. This album frustrates me. There a few gems on this and but the rest are duds. It's forgettable and unimpressive. I know the boys can do so much better because they are the same band that released Everyday Life not too long ago. I always have a Coldplay album on repeat when it first comes out cause I want to be in that glow of new Coldplay music. I didn't have that feeling for this album. This album just doesn't make sense to me. I thought EL was disjointed and messy but this makes EL art. Gems: ? People of the Pride ♾️ Coloratura Honorable mentions: Humankind Biutyful The WTF: My Universe Forgettable: Everything else Will do an album rank later but right now, AHFOD is winning over this one...
