technically both of those songs were b-sides for ETIAW :P i think in this case it makes sense for it to not have been on the album, since they had a more specific "plot" in mind to relate to the comics world... a world in which Mars probably doesn't exist :joy:

2013 and 2014 were very weird times when it comes to Coldplay :P

but, we discussed a bit in the Oldplay thread, you favor melody while i favor atmosphere, so it makes perfect sense that both of us love the songs we do. ;) :P (plus I Ran Away is also incredible, i'm not going to deny that)

imo it's the best crafted song from the AROBTTH era

i think Animals is a great song, but something about it just doesn't quite connect with me like i feel it should
