  1. With all the fans that were there...I can't believe that they wouldn't be singing... everyone seemed excited
  2. ^You probably will have too! :) Haha...this hilarious! I can't get enough of it. :laugh3::cool:
  3. haha! panties! I would love to see Chris's face! :laugh3: Priceless...it reminds me of the last "Bachelor" show here where a lady gave him some panties...he was shocked
  4. I left it taping at home! Wasn't able to catch the performance before I left. Too bad there are no tvs in the office. I already saw some coldplaying signs in the audience, before I left. There is a pretty big crowd and I thought I saw someone's face that I have seen on the board...on their avatar. :)
  5. I wish I could sing with Chris on stage...that is a dream of mine. That...and being able to watch the band record an album!
  6. Okay, I listened to it again and it ain't Chris...the voice is too low. It does sound like it could be Guy and I think he is saying it is a bit fast... Chris could be the one counting...
  7. This is awesome thanks! I thought both performances sounded great! I am sure that they were glad to perform two different songs as that would be more practice for them. Practice makes perfect! :)
  8. They always do this!
  9. I saw part of the Brixton Gig and looked pretty good...The BBC sounded good...I saw some clips of MSG and that didn't sound all too bad considering some of the bad reviews I was reading. Jimmy Kimmel wasn't bad... now I have to see this at home! I'm glad that they played their other songs on the album. Too bad I don't have cable!
  10. This is awesome! Too bad I am not in a band! It's great that they are giving people this great opportunity.

Neat!!! I just went on! Cool idea!
  12. great! We have a company session...so we are closing early!!!
  13. Michael Jackson is ace!
  14. I'm 32! You're not the only oldie! I am definately young at heart though. Plus 30 isn't that old in the real world. :) Chris Martin is 31...so it kind of would make sense to have fans around his age! :) But, it also makes sense that they have younger fans as they keep coming out with new music for every generation.
  15. This is so exciting and I am not even going! I am going to tape it for sure on my VCR. I'll be looking out for the fans in the front too! Would be cool to see coldplaying members in the audience. Can't wait to see your signs! I wish I could go!!! Have fun for me!!! Make sure the band notices you. :wink3::cool:

As my sis said, it sounded like a Beatles song... Actually the piano part sounds like John Lennon's Imagine...listen to the notes...chords...especially the rhythm (it's not it exactly...just very similar) I think that is the song...if it isn't that, then it is definately another song by him or the band. **On another note: There is another mumbling of some sort when they get to the fast part of this song. I have no idea what they are saying...I think it is just Chris and his usual antics...
  17. no...ten times better...but I know what you mean by the far off part... I like the melody of this song much better
  18. This song just gets better and better...I am starting to like it more an more. It's been in my head today! :) I love how he sings the lyrics..."Strawberry swing..." & "Cold, cold waaaater " I also like how it starts simply with drums and then comes in with accoustic guitar later.
  19. I'll have to listen to this again...I loooooove that laughing gnome song! I didn't notice any resemblance off the bat though!
  20. Haha...I was wondering if I was going crazy and was the only one who heard someone mumble something softly on more than one of the songs off the new album! Now I have to go check who it was...I just assumed Chris...but now i am wondering.
  21. Around that area...it really isn't dangerous. Very touristy. As long as you are in that area (NBC studios) I don't see why it should be bad. There will probably be people setting up and stuff...Plus NY is the city that never sleeps...remember? :)
  22. This is totally cool. Finally something for the fans. That is pretty cool that they gave it to coldplying.com members! Neat! Wow, you are off the board for a couple days and see what you miss...oh well it was in NY anyways. But, still cool. I do have an extra personal day!
  23. Oh... it is a long story on page 6 of this thread...but pretty much in a nutshell...the tickets sold out way to fast to get anything decent...all that was left were some 300 behind the stage...I didn't feel like that was worth it... Luckily, they some how added a show! :)
  24. Glad to know someone else was pissed about the whole thing. I do think it is odd that they don't have an office messageboard anymore either. Dosn't seem like they want to cater to the fans...it's weird they took it off their new site. I know there is the old one...but it doesn't seem to be as busy and is a bit ghetto. Luckily there is this messageboard. I think they are overcharging way too much... especially for their 300 and 200 seats. I don't know why it has been so difficult getting good tickets this year. At least the 2nd show didn't sell out as fast!
  25. I"M GOING!!!! We didn't get the best tickets...in the 300s too. But at least I will be there! I was able to get tickets to the first show...it was a little bit of an ordeal again, but I got them. I am going to see if I can get some binoculars before the show. I've been in the 300s before, but it's been a while. I remember being able to hear fine, just you couldn't see a thing. At least I got tickets this time for their first show...they seemed not to be selling out as quickly.
