well a coldplay track was definitely played. all i can remember was saying 'oh mum, this is coldplay' and althought i can't find anything official from riverfire '05, i'm positive it was clocks. not to worry, just imagine they played it last night lol the annual event usually go off the same way :nice:

yeah i was thinking that. i know heaps of christophers', jonathans' and williams' but not many guys'. however i do like the nicks, chris and jonny over the originals. would i ever name my children after them, i don't think i would... maybe in a few years when i am actually intending to have children and my coldplay fanaticism has reached it's peak, then i would :nice:

Kinda a weird story actually.. Stars from Yellow and Kay from my name, Kathy. lol funny enough, no one ever calls me Kay, but recently I went to an event and said "I'm Kathy, with a K, ...' and i guess they misunderstood me because everyone who was there has started calling me Kay. It is pretty random and makes no sense, but the way it looks and the funky way it's pronounced quickly grew on me so here we are lol that took unnecessarily longer to explain that i expected :gossip:

i saw the beginning on tv since i'm further north, but it still looked great. coldplay was perfect for the opening. last year's riverfire was great as well, it stuck in my mind. i didn't watch anything much beyond coldplay since the VMAs were on :rolleyes:

i certainly hope not, but i see what you're saying.. i want their next album to be completely mind-blowing. they need to take a break then each come back with new material and make the best album to date. that needs time and i for one am willing to wait. like i've said before, i rather they take years and release a brilliant album over an album that's quick and average.
