i'm not critisicing anyone for swearing for no reason in manners that make no sense in regards to context, of course in my mind i'll think quite differently but that's because of how i am brought up, but as for expressing those thoughts and arguing with people over what they should and how they should say things, what's the point? best kept to myself really. as a rule i avoid swearing, it does nothing for me, but for someone else who sees it as a means of self-expressing, that's their choice and who am i to critisize that, similarly who are they to judge me because i don't. just wanted to say that as quite a few people here are fluid with their profanity and it really isn't an issue with me, but since we're on the topic :tongue:

at times i love living in brisbane because when bands tours aus they always come here, but with bands like keane, mew, the first step is actually deciding to tour here :dozey: i mean even sigur ros have been here 3 times!

a song i can't get enough of is vaka. i'm so glad i know this band, i swear i've heard them before i knew who they were. in fact i'm sure i've heard vaka, glosoli and saeglópur somewhere else, possibly soundtracks.

well yes it is, but i doubt i would even if it hadn't been for the presentation, but my point exactly lol ... we're all heard of newton's laws, but something probably not widely known is that kepler's study of planets and universal gravitation was actually the foundation to newton's studies.

what about the theory of everything? do any of you reckon it's never going to get established. i mean there must be something out there that ties everything together, i don't know, feels like everythings in parallel and although are so close, will never meet. hm so lost cause or not? i did a study on kepler and his planetary laws for a class presentation. it was pretty interesting. seriously, if you take a few mins to think about someone like kepler and how their contribution has shaped the world, you'd realise it's a shame more people don't know about them.
