just now i was watching the video to gpasuyf on mute with things i don't understand playing, it was surreal, i think i'll do cross playing with other cp tracks because it was reeeeally good, totally saw the latter song in a completely different way :stunned:

nice choice though, melbourne uni is extremely high ranked in aus unis. a few friends of mine are studying law there and they love it! ... i'm going to the Univerity of Queensland better knows as UQ. rated as one of australia's top 3 tertiary institutions and ranked quite highly internationally. i went to a much smaller university before UQ so i'm quite excited about this! this is the virtual tour of the 3 campuses, the main being st lucia campus that i attend. here is a movie-like link to the great court. i'm currently studying a bachelor of science majoring in wildlife biology but i plan that next year my gpa is high enough to get into vet science, my ultimate goal, but either way i'll be working with animals. today was the big day of the orientation week known as market day. it was craazy-wild and i had a great time, not to mention so many freebies lol student discounts etc galore! anyway, a few more pics. and a pretty dodgy arial pic to top it off, i mean of course!

we can all speculate about the lives of celebrities as it is our attraction to their larger than life lives that we talk about that boosts their celebrity, like a vicious circle, but things like their family life that isn't jotted down in detail, such as the treatment and feelings of/towards her kids is something we don't know. 'if she really cares' well anyone can say what another person can do, but what says the doesn't care, her actions maybe but even those are described with punch lines that just inflame how serious the situation is. unlike a lot of people, i've always liked britney spears, not necessarily her music, which i'll admit i was into back in the mtv days :shame: but it's her life and she gets a lot of flak when she does something we the public don't think is normal. i mean the media put such a strong slant on her actions and throw words like mental condition, rehab, bizzare act etc it's just blown way out of proportion and i guess i just feel like it's her life, and she can do what she likes, her reasons for doing them are reasons we can't ever rely on since they usually come from the media who hears it from a 'family friend' etc...whoa, i've written a lot lol

same. i visited a pc store and was told the latest version of norton/symantec makes your pc much slower because of it's size and that the most preferred version of anti-virus, spyware, adware etc is either bulldog or this other program that involves nothing besides a username and password and it updates your pc everyday without slowing it down at all. i'm going to explore that further once my norton/symantec subscription expires, anything to speed my laptop up.

i stayed up till 7am once, i was doing something else, chatting to people and downloading music. i think i logged off/on maybe 20 times that night, so i wasn't always on but kept visiting the forum for updates etc. i had work the next day so i wanted to make the most of my day off. i won't do it again mainly because i can't and studies won't permit me, though i'm not disappointed, i hate pulling all-nighters, moreso when studies aren't involved :freak:

i get reminded about cp every time i watch that movie, mainly because of that don't panic part! i'm sure the swelling will be gone by friday, if it isn't you've got something interesting to share with your new uni buddies :tongue: so far i've been to orientation all week and if i saw someone with an ice pack attached to their head lol i'd love to talk to them instead of these ordinary non-icepack wearing students :shame: yesterday on the bus i sat next to a guy listening to his ipod and i could've sworn he was listening to politik because i could hear the beginning beats and a bit of the piano melody at the end lol i couldn't help smileeeeee to myself :D

good for you Claire, great words to describe them lol they are fantastic yeah :D any fav tracks at the moment? the more i listen the more convinced hoppipola, gong and glosoli are my 3 top songs, though i have yet to fully explore the other albums besides takk.

speed of sound video just came on vh1 and wow ... i haven't seen it in soooo long and i love it all over again [i haven't seen [i]any [/i]cp videos in the longest time] ... gosh and now they are playing fix you for a countdown commercial ... ah coldplay love.

latest from Mewsite.com. i have mixed emotions about these US tour dates, mainly because they have already been there, in fact JUST been there and yet show no sign of coming to Australia or even revisiting South-East Asia [alrighty the possibility of coming to Aus was far-fetched but another US Tour? argh] But for you very very very very v e r y lucky US fans, here are the dates, catch them if you can.

another alias day sounds good but it's too soon. i thought the idea of the day was that it would always happen on the same day - may sound like a looong time but if it occurs too often it would become boring, not to mention all the spam and eh, suspect topics :tongue: the latter isn't really a concern though lol

i've use firefox on my laptop, but on the home pc is the new version of explorer that Shaftell is using that it's pretty good - extremely similar to firefox in terms of layout and tab function, but either is ok, i do prefer firefox though. ... my new desktop that i made [hmm mew] :nice:

another busy day...tomorrow orientation week begins...week after, semester starts...less and less time on here ok let's start...!

^ only a national tour though, thank goodness. i don't hide the fact i was a fan of the spice girls, they were really different from what was on at the time, that and mtv was my only source of music. it's kinda sad but i regard them as has-beens whose 15 mins of fame are well and truly up.

showed my dad the videos to glosoli and hoppipola and he said it was some of the best video's he's seen lately. imo, some of the best video's ever. next time they're in aus, i'm going to their show! :nice:
