i've never really been into silverchair as the time their previous albums came out i wasn't listening to the type of music i'm listening to now. straight lines is rapidly growing on me though, and there are a couple of other songs that i enjoy but i have no clue as to what they are called. i'm glad they have come out with another album, i already like this single so that's a good sign for someone who never knew gave them a chance before :tongue:

/BUMP i love soundtracks. when i come across one i love i need to buy it, there are seriously something magical about a good soundtrack where the composers take you to another place. howard shore, james horner, michael kamen, alan silvestri, john williams, alan menken and hans zimmer are composers i can identify straight off. the others i don't know specifically but play a score and most likely i've heard it. but these guys, particularly kamen with his work on band of brothers mini-series, wow. very inspiring, uplifting stuff :nice: tracks for castaway, philadelphia gladiator, braveheart, legends of the fall, forrest gump, apollo 13, and so much more to list (including animations like beauty and the beast) - (major tom hanks fan as you can see) - anyway amazing people behind these scores.

i'm 20 and my little sister is 17, yet often i am mistaken as the youngest ... feels good sometimes, other times i think it has a lot to do with my personality, but it's all good, neither of us mind :wink:

hm, i don't think so but i know where you're coming from. on the topic of Guy and pics, in the aussie posters selling at the concerts, did anyone find the pic of Guy when they are performing ring of fire [or atleast when the 4 are gathered around front center part of the stage] a little, off. totally doesn't look like him, but in all fairness he was in the moment and isn't expected to be posing with performing...yeah, just wanted to put that out there :tongue:

Annie, your username!!! [maybe old news but i've been gone for a while - 2 days :dozey:] .... my mum just bought me an 80GB ipod, a few days ago i didn't know either :tongue: [i'm sharing because i'm excited about it, never thought i would own one]

i decided to check out awitc because mew, a band i am quite into, opened for bloc party, and i am so thankful i did. i am loving the album and it may be too early to say this but for now, this band is increasingly growing on me, possibly one of my favs :thumbsup: the prayer and hunting of witches are currently my top tracks, haven't hear the silent alarm album yet so i'm going to check that out asap!

oh talking about tattoos, i was considering getting one for a while [and i am the last person i would've thought would would get one] and i know i've said it before, but it was going to be the mew angel on the right inner wrist, and although i'm not as passionate about getting one anymore, i will randomly start drawing them just to see how it would look lol we're not weird rolle, just frengers :D ... although i love special i still prefer aiw?n as the opening track, it just has a commanding sound that just works as a starter. but either or, i just want to see them live lol i don't care if they played one track over and over, i would suit me just fineeee! and once again, comforting sounds...woOow :nice: have a great time at the show Nadia, i can only imagine what it will be like, so i will wait patiently for a miracle announcement of "MEW COMING TO AUSTRALIA" lol till then pics will do :D

oh hellooooooo 20 somethings, i'm 20 turning 21 in september. didn't really notice any change in myself until i was surrounded by 18-19s and couldn't help feel dissociated lol not that i'm complaining. now that i'm in uni and spent some years before in uni, i can notice the change.
