last night the academy awards were on an when ellen announced gwyneth including an intro about being chris martin's wife, i was like "coooooooooooooooldplaaaaaaaaaaaaay"! she looked stunning, as usual....her dress was a m a z i n g :nice: one of the BEST there!

i don't know, it never really grew on me, but i will as long as you sign my bring-mew-to-australia petition...i have to make it first but when i do :wink: while on the topic, channel 9 took off band of brothers after airing the first part. COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! that is one of the best mini-series i have ever seen, my favorite actually...:cry2: anyway, bombard TEN with emails etc and something will get done, i did with channel 9 and they will be airing the full BOB mini-series later on in the year :D

Grace! Stop throwing up, that is probably the most disturbing confession I've read on this forum. It's a terrible way to lose weight, but that aside the mental anguish it can cause. There are so many better ways to lose weight, and you say you're doing it for yourself now [does that mean continuing throwing up? - if it does] it's even worse since you're initial and correct thinking of "i'm not fat" is slowly deteriorating into thinking you have to do it. Please stop! It seriously irritates the hell out of me that girls, even people in general, are made to feel like crap by others when in most cases, there is absolutely nothing wrong with them :\ So anyway, please stop and look in the mirror and seeeeeeeee you're a wonderful person :D who shouldn't have to bend over backwards [or forwards in this case] to make others happy.

maybe you should be tested as you seem to have an obsessive compulsiveness with OCD ;)

thread revival! i am a perfectionist and i'm sure i've mentioned this before. after a while, a lot of people who get to know me ask "btw kathy, what's our starsign?" and once they know i'm a virgo they usually sigh, laugh then reply "we knew it, you're a complete perfectionist". [i don't believe in starsigns etc btw] personally, i find the term very off putting as i know it is impossible for anything to be perfect so to be labelled a perfectionist makes me think i'm striving for the impossible. but that's not to say i'm not one, as i am - in everything, and i mean everything. i'm aware it irritates my family but i can't change that part of me, i simply can't walk by a tilted frame without straightening it, leave my room messy for more than 30 mins when in those 30 mins i was probably thinking "hm, i should put that away", walk past a pile of clothes without folding them, not opening the first page of my new lecture notebook then writing the heading which for some reason always looks crap then tearing it out. in fact, i think every writing book i have doesn't have it's original first page. ah well :tongue:

well you saw the spoiler in my earlier post, that is the working out. now how i actually got to it...not so simple but the trick is break it all down and work backwards in some cases. do you want the steps i went through? it's a typical math problem but very tricky :tongue: so it is possible with the details given, as you see in the solution is gave :wink:

welcome to the potential coldplayers then! :D actually before i joined here i was a member of the official forum, and still am, though i have on occasion had to reactivate my account due to lengthly inactivity :shame: i came here early last year, lurked around, felt like the place was too big and there were already established groups etc, so i held off, but after the concert in june and reading everyone else's posts about that, i couldn't resist :D this place is great, so for your lurkers pondering whether or not to join, do it, you will eventually :P :nice:

i didn't realise there were new mods at all, but now that i am all i can say is regardless of the pms and arguments etc concerning the spamming and mod duties, this is a public site so everyone can see what is happening including Ian who made this decision rationally. it would be out of character for him to demote Mark without knowing all the facts and citing the threads/posts that were brought to his attention. yeah, that's pretty much it, but anyway we're all coldplayers here, that comes before the mod status in all cases :D
