hey how you notice that X&Y has no votes neither does a whisper(Shitty song) and neither does sparks......i personally think that X&Y is the 3rd best track on the album and sparks speaks for itself.....o and parachutes has no votes those were the best 42 seconds of my life.....lol

now that you sed multi tracked you could be right....but no studio musicians arent brought in to because the guys can't play an instrument.....their brought for the lack of musicians in a recording session.....like how brian eno came in on low.....im sure all of the guys know how to play a synthesizer.....but i assume all of them was playing something already. so they prob got the idea of calling in a studio musician and Brian eno was like hey i would like to play for the track....and coldplay was like hey okay.....lol thas how i think the monologue went..

i think it was some random studio musician.....believe Will was playing the big drum you hear in the song.....maybe im not sure

yea in yellow ive noticed the piano part in the chorus sounds kinda honky tonky-ish that piano selector from the diff keyboard sounds

hey my band played a small acoustic set the other day and a women came up to us and said we reminded her of "Coldplay" being that coldplay are like the Alternative rock gods to us....lol we didnt think so.....but people have been saying that lately....so im asking you guys do we sound like coldplay??? hey i created this thread because yesterday i heard towards the end of "square one" a vocal melody......that i believe is chris martin....that was never picked up by my ear before. and also in we never change toward the ending where they do the last chorus part.....i believe jonny says something in the mic. I was just wondering if anybody else notices these things in other tracks. things that are really not noticeable

aye yellowtalk just listened to both covers......for the chorus parts bar the 11th fret instead of the one your doing the same goes for the riff part before the big finish.....that is done on the 3th string at G and the 1st at e-flat white shadows was so flawless good job man

the sound check was very intimate until jonny's guitar went haywire.....lol

ooo i just saw this interview bero of the band setting up and chris says "its very unusual to write a love song about a guitarist.....i guessing he's referring to jonny......im going to get the link

you know i have heard many rumors about who this song was written about, the votes are in. its either gweneth or Johnny who do you think what if was written for?

okay after looking at the video thousands of times.....lol its clear there is some kind of message and i has to do with the letter V......all of the effects done on the guys shot end up with a V Motion.....the heads splitting and then the Hand of chris then Will yea i take back what i said earlier in the thread there is a message there

Coldplay will forever be the biggest band in the world......well atleast until the 2120....lol but to interject.....I truly believe theer motivation greatly decreased. With PArachutes they sung about what they experienced you've got shiver where they talk about girls not noticing them etc. you've got trouble which is plainly clear that the song is about trouble you know someone doing some wrong wrong and getting caught up in their own mess.....on AROBTTH you had politik which was motivated by 911. you've got green eyes which was motivated by Chris's nana.....a strong motivation to many people(not chris's nana) you have amsterdam where you can tell one of the members of the band was really down and out but someone came and showed them that everything is going to be alright. the only song that really sounded like it had motivation behind it on X&y was "a message" and "Til Kingdom Come" the rest of the songs sound like they just new they had to make a good song to go in the place that its in.....they are no longer normal individuals.....they can't really sing about lost loves anymore they can get any girl they want......they can't sing about causing trouble they can do whatever they want......lol they just have a lack of motivation now....they have everything they can dream of.....i think its not till coldplay reaches down into their conscious mindset snd discover the spark and experience before they had fame and Glory thas when they can make a phenominal record.....other than that parachutes and AROBTTH is what will stand

you know sometimes i sick back and wonder why???? you know why must there always bee something hidden....lol Their Coldplay have they ever put something out.....and didnt give you a clue as to what it is...just like the X&Y booklet......they gave us the bar meanings.....im sure the guys were just horsing around....they probably bought a new cam....looks very high Def

this guy is a fuking wack job......but it does sound similar......the vocal melody.....damn ive been asking if people can get sued for using others vocal melody.....and i guess here's my answer....gotta change my vocals on my songs......lol
