I think Coldplay should infact release two disc one. The regular album and then and extended version.....that would indeed doubles their sales......and make EMI very happy....lol but we all know the guys don't care about album sales

Since LP4 is on the horizon question will soon be raised about the B-sides......we knw that the guys have revealed many song names.....and we also know that they are going to choose the 10 best ones for the album which will leave 4 or 5 songs unheard......which will most likely become b-sides which songs do you think will be used for the singles?

I think the best solo is AROBTTH live 2003 after the first chorus.......that gave me goosebumps beyond belief. second best riff I think is the chorus riff to How you see the world.....very ingenious 3 chorded riff. and last but definitely not the least the guitar solo in X&Y even though the tracks were split into two takes but the work is great

wow I believe they made up the chorus when that happened to jonny.......I read an article from ken nelson and how he mixed parachutes.......It said that guy came up with the beginning when laying on the hood of his car.......he was looking up and told chris to look at the stars and they went from there

when I started this thread I was overwhelmed by the exciting words of prospekt. he/she made it seem as if coldplay was done with recordings and were now definitely down to the mixing stages. this is one of the rare occassions where I was glad I was wrong. one cannot judge a song by its song title but when you are a coldplay fan its hard not too. with new songs Love in Japan and Strawberry (forgot the full title) you can't do anything but get excited about the new album so cheers to the boys its down to the home stretch.......hope they give us an album worth our patience

this thread will be perfect for when the new album comes out everybody gonna hear something different in the tracks....and when we do find out that something is behind a track it always make the music cooler

hey i just enjoyed parachutes again but here's the best part of it.......towards the end of trouble there is a faint guitar riff in the background. it is in the last 10 seconds of the track and you have to have your volume up kind of high but its very clear towards the end

in the wordsssss of damon wayans "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh nuh" i dont know who the muggles are......it has significant meaning for us....because as musicians we have been thru alot of criticism and put downs so our band name is originated from the word "Muggee" which means to be a victim of a mugging. we took out one of the G's and added the S and modified the meaning alil. so a Mugee is a person or artist that has been done wrong or has been robbed of confidence....people don't like to tell the story of who or what tried to stand in their way of doing something they liked or loved. Those people are Mugees.....you kind of get it?

nope your right i hear that too......and you know what else in high speed....at the last seconds of the track you hear that engine kind of effect i think that is soooo great....does anyone know what that effect is?

E bows aint cheap no more because the company that produced them went out of business so there are many floating around on the web but they cost a bundle cos there arent many anymore

The effect starts around 3:53 and starts to get stronger as the ending progresses, it sounds like an engine of some kind......whoever thought to use that effect i really commend.....does anybody know what that is??

well you can go to imeem.com and they have a live version of swallowed in the sea they did it at abbey roads in london.....but as for we never change....don't think i will find that ever again....that was very rare

I'm pretty sure its jonny becos if you listen to the voice on the scientist there is a deep voice in the background.......then listen to Don't panic and listen to when jonny sings the second verse very very similar
