  1. Oi, good luck Chelsea.. I have a feeling you'll be fine, though I have to say I think the most terrifying thing for me would be driving on the other side!! OH! You might want to learn to drive a stickshift!! Correct me if I'm wrong, Brits, but at least in Europe 90% of cars are on manual transmission and it's not so easy to get your hands on an automatic.
  2. On demand? Or Pay-per-view...
  3. Ancient thread. But I was wondering if anybody has read Ayn Rand's stuff. She is slowly changing my life.
  4. tyfo... had to click on the link to get it, clever :P You must have been pretty close?

GaGaGaGa or however many Ga's there are is brilliant, I haven't really gotten tired of it and it's been way over a year. I've always liked You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb more than The Underdog though.
  6. My friend just got me Funeral on vinyl (since when did Urban Outfitters start selling arcade fire, radiohead, pink floyd records? ) But anyway i'm excited to listen to it how music sounds best! What a brilliant album. Oh. that reminds me.. i have yet to buy a record player ..
  7. The strangest thing happened today. i saw this dude who looked so much like Thom that I did a double take when i walked into the room. he noticed me staring at him for a really long time (it was in a bar) so I eventually just talked to him. he said he gets it a lot, and that's how he found out about radiohead, and now he's a big fan and really enjoys looking like thom xD ...i bet he gets a lot of girls. much too old for me though :P Oh he also said he was seriously considering trying to keep his left eye squinty all the time. but he was still also a good 4 inches taller than thom.
  8. my thoughts exactly..for the past month i've been hoping and hoping those rumours weren't true... Let's just hope thom hasn't watched the movie and doesn't know what shit he's writing for?
  9. GRIZZLY BEAR. Excellent excellent stuff, Veckatimest. recommend it to everyone. of course, Phoenix, I've fallen in love with them. Seeing them in September. Passion Pit's album is great, they are opening for Phoenix as well. Grand by Matt & Kim is pretty good.
  10. someone's grumpy
  11. I love the entire In Rainbows From the Basement video collection on iTunes, it's the best thing to have on my iphone and be able to watch on the spur of the moment. I also have the whole Thumbs Down webcast on my ipod, well the audio of the whole thing, and it's so great to listen to sometimes.. most memorable quote is when the dude is introducing the band and he goes something like "That's guitarist Ed O'Brien. he's over 9 feet tall and carries an oxygen tank in his trousers to help him breathe at the high altitudes he inhabits. Oh and that is lead singer Tho.m Yorke. He of course absolutely hates cats, trucks, and people. But he seems to be having a good day."  Interesting about that article... i actually didn't know they were headlining some festivals, i hope they play some new stuff. I can wait for the album, for some reason it feels like just yesterday we found out In Rainbows was coming out in just 10! days. But it's been almost 2 years!! time flies excruciatingly quickly.. i dunno, IR was the first album that came out since I fell in love with them, and I actually felt a part of the whole thing.
  12. haha, what? referring to my username subtitle?
  13. ^second that
  14. TWO WORDS: JASON STATHAM.
  15. fabulous thread. Grizzy Bear are one of those bands that give hope to music nowadays... I'm in love with their music. (i cannot stop listening to Knife..)
  16. I have to say, the whole treasure hunt thing really was great. it's the most creative thing i've seen in music for a while, very fun stuff. BUT I don't like the song, at all. i enjoy Matt + piano, but the rest of this song.. really does not do it for me. HOWEVER, the best part, and it is excellent if you pay attention: Dom Howard's drumming. he is actually a drumming GOD. (and cute as hell.)
  17. Dunno if you guys followed the treasure hunt.. but so much for the resistance... pfffft.
  18. Doouble post. :P

  23. Either would be good. But I'm really wondering if you'll like Kid A. it was my second after OKC (which got me obsessed) and I loved it from the third listen.
  24. Do we have recording of follow me around and true love waits? i kind of want this whole thing in one place and i'm much too lazy to find it, trying to follow all the Muse drama :P
