  1. Hi and welcome to the biggest Coldplay fansite!!! Keep practicing their songs on piano! I tried to find a good vid of "The Hardest Part" live with less screams. Try this one. (Maybe I'm biased because it's from Boston :D) I love that Will sings too  [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79-6qcsX1cE]YouTube - Coldplay - The Hardest Part / Viva La Vida - Boston Garden - 10/29/2008[/ame]
  2. bracelets! ^ :laugh3: Funny, that's exactly what I used to fix 1 of mine that broke! Super glue is the bomb. As long as you're carfeul taking them off (or you never take them off), they shouldn't break. I kind of accidentally got mine caught on an angry tree branch (guess the tree was jealous and wanted some awesome bracelet action for itself :P).
  3. Clocks ending I think he's playing 2 Octives at once just with these notes: F, F, F F, G, G, F, F, F, G, Ab, F, Eb (Repeat once, then play Clocks riff after) (might be a bit off on the # of times played....) Hope that's helpful
  4. :D:D hehehe, you do have quite an active imagination *looks at your location* Yeah, I know our P.C.'s will make it there. It's just..... gah!!! I wanna know how many Debs received!!!! :bomb: She's soooooo very nice to us! :nice:
  5. I'm worrying too. :\ So you're not a lone-worrier... lone-warrior  (ok, bad pun) Anyway, the other day, I had a dream that my postcards fell off a ship on the way to England (yes, I know, ... a ship) and they got "swallowed in the sea"... I got nervous (even though there was a subliminal Coldplay lyric reference in it :D) *fingers crossed* I hope all of our Postcards made it to the UK and into Debs's clutches safe and sound. And I absolutely cannot wait for Debs to inform us of what's going on. .... Just thinking about the boys' reactions is getting me really really happy! :nice:

  10. erik satie The answer is 42... Just kidding...sorry to get all Douglas Adams on you  ^ It's Erik Satie's classical piece "Gnossiennes No.1" ;) Hauntingly beautiful. And "Politik" blends quite well into it since they share the chord Fmin. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyFhsG8Ip4E]YouTube - Erik Satie - Gnossiennes No.1[/ame] And Hey 2732 (Nick?) I agree with but a dream ! I'd love to see your band play a cover of "Politik". I'm sure you wouldn't FAIL! :P

  14. ^ BRILLIANT FIND a-chan!!! This is AWESOME news!!!! Yay McGinn! Lookie at the Description :nice: It sounds like Paper Gold! :o :bomb: :bigcry:  Product Description If it's true that behind every great man there is a great woman, then behind every great band, there's a similarly skilled road crew...This book is the backstage 'on the road' account of Matt McGinn's life as a roadie touring with a band at the pinnacle of their success. The book charts the life and duties of a rock and roll roadie for the band Coldplay, who has been with them right from the start of their career (as well as his)."ROADIE" is stuffed with insightful and authoritative rock 'n' roll tour stories about daily roadie duties; the job; the road; the gigs, the band; the relationships; the fame; the failing equipment  and the cold beers after a great show - as well as humorous and engaging anecdotes about Matt's relationship with Coldplay as they travel the world and become the biggest band on it.The book will have mass appeal to young musicians and bands as well as the upcoming technical staff who want to read about the duties and life of a roadie for one of the biggest bands in the world. :smug: The book also promises a foreword by Chris Martin as well exclusive never-before-seen photography of the band." ROADIE" will be the first, and only, biography and book of the band approved by Coldplay. It is an authoritative, engaging account of a roadie's life and duty to the biggest band in the world. It is an insightful and entertaining look at the rock and roll touring industry. This the first and only book blessed by Coldplay. It includes a foreword by Chris Martin (Coldplay), along with exclusive photography. About the Author Matt is the only full time backline technician employed by the band and the key member of its touring force. He was present during the recording of the last two albums, has circled the globe over a dozen times, and during the last six years, Matt has risen to the top of the roadie ranks. This is his first book.

  18. *randomly pops into thread* wouldn't something like "Mark is way too punny" be one? :P (ok, maybe not..) Hey, a sphere is a really pointless shape. :rolleyes2: This thread put me in stiches!.... [/oddness] *pops out of thread*

  20. Ah! Right you are. Guess I meant when I heard they were nominated... sorry for being confusing. I got overexcited and assumed they were playing :embarassed: But they really HAVE to perform. It's kind of a given with the success Viva La Vida had. If they do perform, Life In Technicolor ii for the win! :nice:
  21. ^ Hehee! My thoughts exactly! We should ask McGinn if he needs a few apprentices ;)
  22. ^ In an interview, Chris said Jonny has about 11 guitars now so I guess he's not joking :stunned:
  23. Viva DVD! + 20 ! :flutterby: I'd be able to die happy! :dead:
  24. Oooh! Yes! When I heard they were going to play on the upcoming Grammy awards, I straight away thought "they need to play LITii."
