I agree... Even if no one in this thread seems to agree with my idea ... I can't help to repete that for me, the most fair solution, is to give the item for charity again!! If you don't want it's ok, I can understand, but never forget that it's a charity auction! ;)

I thought about this as well. How much is the fee for an international transaction?! You could give back the total amount (that any one of us will donate to the group) - the fee. I don't think it will be more than 1£ ... So if we won't win anything we're going to loose one pound... Anyway ... we'll try to win! Any other idea is accepted, but I thing that paypal is a very good "tool" for this kind of things!

yes!! I totally agree!! this should be our first objective!! The most important thing is donate. I'm sure that lot of people are going to try to get something but we've to do our part as well ... and help to drive up the bids ... at least ... ;)

1£ is more or less 1,11€ and 1£ is 1,62$ Any way I thing that 2£ are not a lot ... but I even think that the bids should be as free as possible. I mean we can donate 3/2£ OR MORE. 400£ for a guitar wouldn't be enought, but why don't try for the Globe? In my opinion it's necessary to have a PayPal and/or eBay account and to transfert everything on a single account, menaged by one/two of us. The problem is find the person, that everyone trust, who has time to do it .......

Hi guys! I had an idead about this Clearout Coldplay Sale and I know that Nancy (from this forum) got the same (more or less). sorry but I cant' find her message .... Any way the idea is as follow: Why don't we create a Coldplayer account on Ebayto to try to get the Globe? If we got it we will give it to Kids Company (for another charity auction - or just for present to help children to study geography ... may be :-/ ). If we won't ... we just contributed to get the Globe more expensive and help them to get more money! It won't be easy to organize all this ... but if we're a lot ... we could try! :)

yes but you know, as this afternoon I talked about chidren that haven't families or that have big problems ... I was really glad to read that, tonight! I know that they don't need money, but I'm happy to read that some reach people, as they are, and some organisations, as Kids Company, are deeply involved helping children and young people!! Tonight it helps me to hope that we can do something somehow! ... ok, and now ... let's try to get something amazing form this auction!!! :D
