  5. His lyrics are just beyond your limited mental capacity. To be fair, Chris does say "When you see it THEN you'll understand". You just haven't seen it yet.
  6. I vowed to leave this board once, but this is SO ACCURATE that I returned. Hey, how come Coldplay licenses out all their songs?
  7. Because it's a bigger issue with me than 'different views'. 'Different views' is arguing which of Coldplays albums is the best. That's fine. In my opinion, this celebrity worship is unhealthy and something fans of the band need to realize. If Chris Martin had some housewife, none of you would care and rightfully so. The mother of Chris Martins children has nothing to do with his music. But because he happened to marry a celebrity, the same unhealthily obsessed fans who write band fiction can now branch their obsession further outwards into tabloid fodder gossip. I mean, what if Chris Martin was a fan of motorcycles and bought a bike company? Would the yearly stock report be something to discuss here? NO. I'm really amazed at how many of even the seemingly intelligent people here miss this. There is SO little music discussion that goes on here and the obvious question is "then why do you continue to post here?" and it's because I LIKE the band and there aren't too many large message boards like this one. You've all built up in your minds 'Coldplay the thing', that involves celebrities, fictional stories, photo galleries and all sorts of shit and almost disavowed Coldplay the band. I'm leaving the site because there's simply no discussion here of Coldplays music, even in the release section of the site. I knew that Coldplay was a lot more mainstream than most of the bands I'm into, but holy shit. You all strike me as tweens.
  8. Only the simple minded would be entertained by me continually asking for an answer to a question.
  9. Sorry, I figured since the past few hours have been a back and forth that 4 pictures accompanied by :P was directed at me.
  10. Have you really built me up as some 2-dimensional character that is enfuriated when he sees Gwyneth Paltrow pictures?
