  1. If you mean currently on-air, then LOST, but all-time for me has to be The X-Files. ;)
  2. A 4 disc DVD set will be released on May 23, 2006 here in the US. I'm sure other regions will get it soon after or even before that date. Reviews of the director's cut at aintitcool and other movie news sites say it's much better than the original theatrical release (which was hacked up just to get the runtime down for more showings). So if you like it already, you'll like the new cut even more, and if you didn't like it before give the DC a chance when it's released as it's suppossed to be a completely different film with all the intended character development and subplots finally included. Here's the current confirmed spec. list for the DVD Release followed by a link to get it from Amazon.com: Disc 1: **DIRECTOR'S CUT Part One *Introduction by Sir Ridley Scott **AUDIO COMMENTARIES Director Ridley Scott and Writer William Monahan by executive producer Lisa Ellzey, film editor Dody Dorn, visual effects supervisor Wes Sewell and first assistant director Adam Somner **THE ENGINER'S GUIDE Disc 2: **DIRECTOR'S CUT Part Two **AUDIO COMMENTARIES (Continued) Director Ridley Scott and Writer William Monahan by executive producer Lisa Ellzey, film editor Dody Dorn, visual effects supervisor Wes Sewell and first assistant director Adam Somner **THE ENGINER'S GUIDE (Cont'd) *Story Notes (Text & Images) Disc 3: **THE PATH TO REDEMPTION DOCUMENTARY - Part I DEVELOPMENT *Part I: Good Intentions (Featurette) *"Tripoli" Overview & Gallery (Text & Images) *First Draft Screenplay by William Monahan (Text) *Story Notes (Text & Images) *Location Scout Gallery (Images) **PRE-PRODUCTION *Part II: Faith and Courage (Featurette) *Screen Tests (Video and Commentary) *Cast Rehearsals (Video) *Costume & Weapon Design Featurette (Video) *Production Design / Conceptual Art / Costume Galleries (Text & Images) **PRODUCTION: SPAIN *Part III: The Pilgrimage Begins (Featurette) *Creative Accuracy: The Scholars Speak (Video) *Storyboard Comparisons (Multi-Angle Video & Images) *Photo Galleries (Text & Images) Disc 4: **THE PATH TO REDEMPTION (Continued) **PRODUCTION: MOROCCO *Part IV: Into The Promised Land (Featurette) *Unholy War: Mounting The Siege (Video) *Storyboard Comparisons (Multi-Angle Video & Images) *Photo Galleries (Text & Images) **POST-PRODUCTION *Part V: The Burning Bush (Featurette) *Deleted & Alternate Scenes (Video & Commentary) *Sound Design Suite (Video & Audio) *Visual Effects Breakdowns (Video & Commentary) **RELEASE *Part VI: Sins and Absolution (Featurette) *Trailers & TV Spots (Video & Commentary) *ShoWest Presentation (Video) *Press Junket Walkthrough (Video) *Japanese & London Premieres (Video) *Poster Explorations: Domestic & International (Images) *The Director's Cut & DVD Campaign (Video & Images) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EHSVQ4/qid=1140188907/sr=1-3/ref=sr_1_3/103-1116190-0380655?s=dvd&v=glance&n=130
  3. X - Xena: Warrior Princess: The Series Finale (well, it was released like a movie on DVD, plus it's something that probably hasn't been listed before) ;)
  4. What?!? Stanley Kubrick's The Shining is one of the best horror films ever made :P , that rating is totally undeserved. Anyway, The Skeleton Key 7/10
  5. Did anyone catch the last episode, the Eko-centric one? They showed the "monster" without actually showing what it was. It looked like a snake-like column of black smoke with flashes of ghostly images inside . (highlight to read) It was very bizzare and mysterious in usual Lost fashion. Any thoughts on this?
  6. This is one of my all time favorite films. The best foreign language film I've ever seen. :D
  7. ^ but anyway, in response: tipsy
  8. Coldplay - Green Eyes
  9. W - Westlife (not that I like them, but they're a 'W') ;)
  10. I enjoyed this remake of Kong much better than the original, and not because of the updated special effects either. This new version features better characterisations, and the Ann-Kong relationship is more of a friendship or pet-owner relationship, rather than Kong having some icky sexual fixation on Ann as in the original. ;)
  11. Fantastic shows! Thanks for these! :)
  12. Depeche Mode - Precious (live)
  13. Z - Zorro, The Gay Blade (This spoof is hilarious, plus I just have to put something other than Zoolander for 'Z'!)
  14. Madonna - I Love New York
  15. KOH was one of my favorite films of the year, so I'm sharing this for other fans of the film and for the many fans of its director Ridley Scott and star Orlando Bloom. Fox is releasing a director's cut, in which filmmaker Ridley Scott has added 45 minutes to the original's 145-minute running time, making the new cut a whopping 190 minutes. Highlights of the added footage are expected to include an expanded role and subplot for co-star Eva Green, plus lots more romance, action, and character development. It will screen exclusively at the Laemmle Fairfax Theatre in Los Angeles. http://www.laemmle.com/viewtheatre.php?thid=5 Read more from the link above. According to the showtimes, it appears to be screening at least a week (Friday, 12/23 through Thursday, 12/29). I'm glad I waited to buy the dvd as the director's cut will be released on dvd sometime in 2006 (probably around Easter due to the film's religious themes). :D
  16. Anna Nicole Smith has had a long running dispute over the estate of her deceased super-rich husband, the man's son said (rightly so) that Anna was a gold digging ho that tricked and married his senile dad for the money. After a long legal battle a state court in Texas said that Anna was not entited to any money, while a U.S. federal court said she was, so the case has been deadlocked for quite some time. Now, I just heard on a local news broadcast that President Bush's administration will be aiding Anna as they believe Federal courts have jurisdiction over state courts and thus have the final say in the case. Now I really hate Bush! He's helping out some annoying celebrity instead of people who really need help! What are everyone else's thoughts on this?
  17. X - X2: X-men United
  18. V - V (it was a tv movie, anyway) ;)
  19. T - Tank Girl
