first time live
First time I saw Coldplay perform AROBTTH stuff I hadn't heard much of it so it was absolutely fantastic, it was kind of a pre-Glastonbury rehearsal thing so it didn't seem polished at all. Glastonbury was erm... :D And then in Manchester in October, I suppose they were very used to the setlist etc so it naturally appeared to be v. polished and rehearsed, but still great. And if they're doing new stuff in the upcoming gigs then that will shake it up a bit I suppose, but I'm not sure if impromptu B-sides wouldn't leave half a stadium audience more than a little confused, which is a shame. :? And apart from that, yey! for Ian McCulloch supporting :D [/i]

I used to have braces too and you will get used to it, I promise. :D And sweets are OK too, just don't try a Refresher Bar like I did - it was a disaster. :o

Coldplaying Sistahs and Brothas
After going to an all-you-can-eat chinese for lunch, and polishing off a roast dinner (I know it's a day early for that but we do things the wrong way round in this house) I think today would be a good day to make myself a promise to eat a bit more healthily. And start swimming again. :-D

recording at a gig
i once saw a telly programme where a man hid recording stuff in a loaf of bread (at a bob dylan gig), but that's not really an option, just made me laugh. why would you take a loaf of bread with you to a gig?

Guess what the b-sides are for Clocks?
and I always follow on the end of the track (on the radio) with the start of the one that comes next on the album. I'm obviously a creature of habit :)

Reality Shows
As a rule, I don't really like them (honest :? ) but I do like Big Brother at the beginning, when there's lots of people, although it gets v. boring towards the end. And, to my shame, I've started watching a new one called "The Salon" on C4 over here - it's about, you've guessed it, a hairdresser's, and for some reason, I'm embarrassed to say, I find it riveting TV. I think Ricardo's great (if anyone else watches it. :-D )

Guess what the b-sides are for Clocks?
- Starsailor
I only saw them at Glasto, but one of my mates saw them in Parr Hall in Warrington the other month - and Peter Kay was there as well! :D- Sad terrestrial telly man needs cheering up
well, does MTV3 exist? :? and when is it actually on?- NME Awards
Are they both nominated for best band and best album? And I realise that this is not the most important award but if Liam Gallagher wins sexiest male over Chris Martin I think it's a fair result - Chris is nicer looking (ie not as ugly) but Liam is sexier, imo. Does that make sense? :?- Sad terrestrial telly man needs cheering up
i'm a bit confused :?- Guess what the b-sides are for Clocks?
it is one of the most dull, cold, rainy, depressing months ever. bleurgh :x but animals is great! :) I want them to record murder/idiot too, but I really don't think that would happen- i need all the luck in the world!
good luck! (unless it's too late :? )- did anyone see the MJ documentary last night?
I feel really sorry for him, but agree that he obviously is not normal. I don't think that, from what I saw (about the last 20/25 mins I think) that Martin Bashir handled the interview in the way I might have expected from a supposedly reputable journalist but then I am very picky :? I'd definitely welcome a Coldplay documentary though, if only because the truth about Chris and Jonny might finally surface ;)- Starsailor
i like them both but would say that, in my opinion, they're both bands which are much much better live, even though their albums are v. good. :) i saw brmc at the end of last year and hearing the start of "spread your love" live just made me :D - Starsailor
