  5. Jack Black gets annoying after awhile. :P Jack White is vaguely creepy sometimes, but I'm okay with that. :D [glow=red:c843e8c82f] Jack White!![/glow:c843e8c82f] The fact that Jack White is better looking has nothing to do with my choice either. Well, maybe a little bit. ;)

  13. *takes a deep breath...* When I was fourteen I was gonna kill myself. But I looked at myself in the mirror and realized that I hadn't really lived at all. I didn't have a good reason to pull the trigger. And I thought about Dave Matthews, who's lost his dad and his sister and he still carries on... I thought, I have to be missing something. And ever since then I've been looking for things that'll keep me going. I've learned that it doesn't have be to major things: going to the movies with a friend, listening to a great song, saying/writing something that makes others laugh, a good cup of coffee... Sometimes I have to force myself to do things, and make myself uncomfortable, but it's a trillion times better than sitting alone in the dark and wondering if god cares or even exists. I've got concerts to see, parties to plan, stories to tell and pictures to paint. But still, sometimes, even when I'm with my friends and we're having a good time, talking and laughing, I get the feeling that I'm not really there. *shivers* It's frightening, like the whole world is slipping away from me, but reaching out, literally, I mean touching someone's hand or shoulder and establishing that physical contact, trusting people, leaning on them is the only thing that grounds me. And a well-developed sense of humour.
  14. Bright Eyes - Spent on Rainy Days
  15. Thank you very, very much. :smug:
  16. PINE TREE (Particular) - loves agreeable company, very robust, knows how to make life comfortable, very active, natural, good companion, but seldom friendly, falls easily in love but its passion burns out quickly, gives up easily, everything disappointments until it finds its ideal, trustworthy, practical. Hmm, everything but that "very active" bit is dead-on. I also have a peculiar fondness for pine trees themselves. :stunned: *hugs a pine tree*
  17. Here's my half-assed site: http://www.angelfire.com/band/aragorn/opener
