September 25, 2009 - submitted by Liam, United Kingdom Q. How come towards the end of the European tour Chris started wearing a scarf during the gig? Is his voice ok or was he feeling a bit ill? The Oracle replies: To be honest, Chris, Will & Jonny do wear scarves a lot especially during soundchecks just to be on the safe side. At these outdoor venues Chris was just guarding against the evils. Jonny was feeling poorly at the Manchester show but overall they weren't doing so badly... thank you for asking!

Well, it happened before and not everybody is so grateful. Some guy is selling Chris' shirt on eBay for 4,600 pounds. No, White Lies had a shorter set, not Coldplay. :lol: I've seen Coldplay six times this tour. :p Well, they came to Holland a lot, so I had to!

I liked White Lies too! I know most of their songs pretty well and they were also in Nijmegen (supporting CP). They played a shorter set in Wembley, which was a little disappointing... especially because they had to make it shorter because of Girls Aloud. :dozey: And yeah, there were lots of (too many) Girls Aloud fans. There was also this (I assume, gay) guy who went completely mental when GA came on and sang along with every song. :lol: Amsterdam is a great city, lots of tourists, lots of shops, lots of water, lots of drugs! :P

Because they are updating the site and we'll get Wedding Bells! :dance:

It's funny everyone gets excited when coldplay.com is down. It happens often, and most of the time nothing happens. But who knows.........

The concert was indeed fantastic, I also liked the supporting acts very much (especially Jay-Z). Girls Aloud were fun at first, but their set was too long. And they weren't that hot either. :P I live near Amsterdam. ;) And I saw Bat for Lashes when they were supporting Coldplay in Nijmegen and they are coming to Amsterdam, but nobody knows them. :P I'd really love to see them again. But, most of the time I'll convince someone to tag along. :wacky:

Sorry, don't remember you... :embarassed: But there were so many people! Yeah, you should! There were lots of Coldplayers there on both days! I spotted another girl who was at the concert on her own, isn't that boring? Especially the wait! Although I might be going to a concert alone... sometimes it's really hard to find someone who wants to go with me. :rolleyes: Oh, and if you got some water from the security people over there and it tasted like bananas, it was because of me throwing away my banana peel in the water supply. :lol:
