hello there Mr Talk :D Cheers!..well, two of my band mates are at Uni in London, doing music, so i have to be there too if we're to do anything. Yeh, i think practicing with your band is the main thing, but you've got to be Practicing GOOD songs. Make sure you're making Good music, and then play it well, and people will be interested. The reason we're not playing gigs, is because we've not practiced the songs we've wrote, because we're far apart. So, w're practicing all over the summer for 3 months, and then going to London to gig. I'm sure when we have some gigs i'll be pushing it down peoples throats :D and be putting links to my site, hopefully people will visit and like us

yeah you're right it is...but, luckily, we've been buying bits and pieces for a while, and one of the people i'm in the band with, is my brother. and my dad plays the guitar and uses equipment, which is ours really he says. But, we're recording a demo first this summer before i move to London. Are you trying to do it seriously!... getting signed, or for fun? Anyone else in a band??

i prefer the live versions of it...i think the recording doesn't have the same type of energy. if it had of been a similar sounding recording to Shiver, then I think i'd listen to the Studio version alot more, I'd love Idiot to be recorded in the Studio i have a video of them playing it live...really good quality too.

hey, is there anywhere online to hear your band, i didn't know you were in one! I am moving to London in the next few months to do my bands full time and work..decided not to go to Uni, because i'm very determined (and maybe a little stupid)

whether it be a little section, a verse, intro or the Whole Song!...i've noticed that there's a lot of similar sounding songs, although, it's all down to opinion... ...apart from THIS one... Modest Mouse - Float On & James - She's A Star i know of more, and Will add more, but it's nearly half 4 in the early morning, and i'm off to bed, but, anyone else know of any ??

the only time, that i can think of,i could compare Radiohead and Coldplay is the song Bigger Stronger...it could be a b-side from around the time of The Bends. although, that's just my opinion. But..it doesn't even matter at all...it's not a bad thing, and they're BOUND to have had an influence on them, because they're a band that they like. Also..where is the logic in signing up to a coldplay forum, only to say they're bad. :huh: and EVEN if it is a business move, it's better than other pretty much any other business i can think of for fun. it's not like they're harming anyone, it's just music.

when i think of grunge music, i think of musicians who aren't really THAT good...but can play Power chords. i don't like its simplicity i'm yet to be proved wrong, although, i'm willing to be proved wrong

haha..nice twist Bananarama. I'm not at all trying to make anyone guilty...you must have made up your mind about me, and then read what i said, trying to think of a reply against me..! I wrote what I wrote, showing that people Don't really care about it when they read it here.. not trying to Guilt Trip anyone at all..i didn't put any sad crying faces. you are TRYING to make me feel guilty by using words like "Grand-pops" and "Poor" when describing my grandad. Maybe if she talked to her family or friends in PERSON, she'd get more comfort, and the art of conversation would be back, and families would communicate again...WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE <another reason i wrote it was to show i Wasn't Insensitive, but not at all to guilt trip>
