  1. This is my cat AJ, who I now realise has the same initials as Chris (Chris Anthony John Martin....I think thats it). She was previously owned by one of our friends who's husband died and so the cat was named after the husband when it was bought. AJ stands for Anthony James, which is strange cus AJ (the cat) is a girl... AJ is a ragdoll which means by breed, she isn't very smart. Often if you annoy her or make her angry, she will attack you, but then two minutes later she will forget everything and go back to being the normal, relatively calm cat she is. She is not all that affectionate and only purrs in the morning and when she is being fed.
  2. uh....there is this award I got for coming 1st in my division of Orienteering, it was the reginals and I'm so proud of it because when I was running, I got really lost but for some reason, I still won!
  3. OMG! Thanks Lore, heaps and heaps, honestly I can't thank you enough for the birthday greetings and stuff! I'm a little overwhelmed, I had my party yesterday, it was an 80s theme! All the cake and the presents and the dancing and the stupid glow sticks that break and all the glow liquid gets on your hands and the carpet...
  4. When I first came here, I was a little distant but then I started actually talking to people and having them reply to my posts. I've met heaps of really nice people here, and they make me feel very welcome here. But on the contrary, I've have met (or seen, I sorta avoid talking to them) some rather annnoying or just full of themselves people, but hey, thats like .1% everyone here. I'm glad I joined, everyone who is a genuine Coldplay fan is a good person, the only people here who are a bit mean, were never really here for Coldplay in the first place.

    uh....my guitar...
  6. I was given a rather simple piece but I suppose I just can think fast enough to keep it flowing. I don't think I hit any wrong notes, it just well...didn't flow...
  7. ^Yeah, but sad. He just came back from a funeral and is probably striken with grief as well as being exhausted!
  8. Will played lots of instuments way before he joinded Coldplay. I can't remember all of them, was one a tin flute, but it was quite a few. Actually, until about a month ago, I had no idea Will could play piano. He is very talented to be able to sing and play the drums. Still, they all have their own amazing talents, they are all great songwriters and they all are amazing on their chosen instruments, but just because Will can play the most intruments, doesn't mean he the best... They are all of equal talents, it's a balence that makes them Coldplay. P.S I remeber in a live session, Chris said before they played 'Warning Sign'; It's an old song that somehow got put on our record.
  9. The only way to break my internet addiction...is...a really good book.
  10. They told the members of Coldplaying to go to rehab but they said no, no ,no....
  11. Thanks Lore, I usually do about one music exam each year, but this was my first piano exam, all the others have been on a strings, and I'm meant to study for at least 6months, but for various reasons, I had only 3 months !! Hope to do my 5th grade next year so I can join chamber music!
  12. That's cool, I suppose this is my 'home on the internet' too. :)Coldplaying isn't just a forum, it's a community...
  13. Who doesn't? (they're the ones someone should ban!!)
  14. I wasn't bad at sight reading, though, I still hate it! It was the freakin rhythm thing that stuffed me up...

United? Oh, wait...uh... I know nothing about soccer, I'm Australian
  16. Thanks all you, I'd be really annoyed if I got a B+ cus I think I did better than that, but hey, still....4 more to go! xams I mean and I won't be doing them this year, no.... BTW, my exam was just two days before my B"day, so its my B'day tommorow!!!!
  17. uh....just let me run through the list... God put a Smile and Daylight took me a while to learn, um...I had this version of Talk a long time ago and now I can't find it but I never finished learning it cus it was pretty complex!
  18. I've never posted in the wrong thread, then again, I've been here for just over a month:P
  19. When I started writing, I always used to just write lyrics and then try to firgure out a tune, but really, thats as far as it went, and then I discovered my piano! Now I usually start off with chord progressions and work from there, and sometimes I'll write different bits and later realise the all fit together, and they do and usually, that's where my songs come from. I suggest when writing music, simply lets anything go, if you can't find anything good, don't freak. I often find if nothing works, I go do something else, or if I'm really struggling, I think of the structure of a song I like, that usually gets me writing... But music will come naturally to some, and not so naturally to others (hey, we can't all be a Chris Martin, can we?)
  20. Well, it's hard to tell if you will know them, I can tell you what scales I needed to learn, E, F, B, Bflat all of them in major, minor, chromatic, conturary, staccato and as arpegios...so quite a lot, but Grade 4 is halfway there (there are eight grades in AMEB exams)....I'm not really sure how to tell you how hard the exam is... Thanks, I did my exam yesterday, it went very well!
  21. That's so unbelievably true....and sad, I can't believe we're in a world were image means everything, good music hardly shining through anymore....:\
  22. Yeah, it was kinda weird sitting in there, cus I've done exam like that before, but on the violin and the two times I did an exam like that, I wasshaking, a lot, but this time, I was just sitting there...I must feel more comfortable at a piano. Yeah, quite a few actually! God put a smile upon you face is fun to play on the piano, so is 1;36....
  23. I think it's cus they are with the same record company, is it EMI or Parlophone? So if Snow Patrol is a diet Coldplay, does that mean Snow Patrol has less suger and is supposedly good for you?
  24. Haha lol dats funi, u mde my day wit dat! I hate netspeak:P
  25. I just think its sound like a name you give to a strawberry blonde haired girl who where's bright red lipstick and squeaks when she is trying to laugh....and I hope I'm the opposite to that!
