I'm happy for them getting unbiased, fairly balance decent reviews for once. The only thing that didn't erect my penis was when he compared DLIBYH to 'A Whisper'. I like the song, but it was still the weakest on AROB... :P

Can we just announce early that the 93 people who voted it would leak after the 19th are already wrong as it is a certainty that (if it hasn't already) it will leak on the 19th when it is released in Japan. :P

For those who are and those who are not getting the oracle confused. She neither confirmed nor denied it was a full length track, I think she was misquoted and her actual quote was just pointing out that it was not a full song. Some people thought this meant that the album version is. if in the case that it's not, that's not to say that there was a full length song of MX in the past, like LiT, but was shortened for some reason.

woah woah woah woah woah... hold the phone, joben. Are 'Tomorrow', 'Great Expectations', 'Golden Arrow' and 'Love in a Lethal Dose' all confirmed song titles that didn't make it? I know that there was a song or two on the PRS registration that didn't make the cut but I haven't seen legitimate sources for the rest, if I'm wrong please correct me and link me :)

Wedding Bells is one of my favourite songs. When I met Chris last christmas I spoke to him about it, I was saying how much I was looking forward to hearing it on LP5 and he apologised and said it wasn't on the album- when I asked him why and said I thought it should be, he said it was a sister song for christmas lights and that the recording had the same kind of sound with the swirling piano's. He went on to say they should play it live sometime but never mentioned ever releasing it. It wasn't meant to be a part of the LP5 era and so I highly doubt, unfortunately, that it would ever be included on an EP.

I hope the elephant heads are in the video, it's different.

Not strictly true. VLVODAAHF's 30 second previews were available on the NME website before the album even leaked, which was two weeks before it was released.

The yellow video was supposed to be shot in beaming sunshine but it rained. The videos visual ambience has nothing to do with a metaphor for the song title. Violet hill is in london. The video was shot in sicilly, off the south coast of Italy.

That's a bit harsh, because- A) the OP could be in the process of learning/perfecting their english B) they might not be trolling but simply unaware that the band have been playing new songs all summer or C) they might have meant in unperfected english 'They're playing all the songs off the album even the ones that we haven't heard' either way don't jump to assumptions because if they're just blissfully unaware then they won't feel very welcome to the forum

Record companies could avoid leaks very easily if they wanted to, and it goes a little something like this- Artists record album, mix album and put album on secure USB > Artists pass said USB to record company on the day of st digital release > Record company uploads and passes on to online distribution i.e iTunes, Amazon etc. > Consumers buy > Physical release is now put into distirbution factories and real fans of the music are more likely to purchase, whilst also wanting to purchase physical release even if they have to wait up to a month more. the end result is that record labels don't have to worry about a leak before they've had a chance to make any money, alloweing consumers to preorder a digital release which alligns with a physical release is no longer relevant as they are losing millions of pounds. Sure there would be teething issues and whatnot, but we're moving faster and faster in this digital age and I think a pre-digital release date could benefit companies. then again. I'm sure I've overlooked something, as there must be a reason labels are happy to lose their millions................. ** awaits being told what I've missed **

It will definitely leak before the 19th because it will need to be processed in a factory for distribution before then. This is almost always how most albums leak. Fingers crossed it gets put into factories sooner rather than later.
