^ I should point out, like Tracie said, I wasn't trying to cast negative aspersions against people who WANT to wait until it's out, that's personal opinion and that is unarguable. I think part of the reason that more people will be content with a leak this time around is because we have heard 85% of the album already. Still disappointed about that but the album versions will have so many layers.

People say 'it's their best' every time a new album is imminent. listening parties said the same about X&Y and Viva. You can't really beat the test of time, and see in a few months, even a year if it's as good as previous albums. good music can take a realllllly long time to be given proper critique. also, in reply to the original thread q- yes, i would listen to a leak now. I don't think the band care when you hear it, so when people are like 'oh i won't listen to a leak until the release date' really bugs me, The band just want you to purchase it fairly. I think as long as you actually buy it, who cares when you hear it- you're still paying the band for their work and giving them your appreciation.

A lot of the hate for X&Y came from chris' absurd statement that it was going to 'Reinvent the wheel' before it came out. I love X&Y and it's one of my favourite albums, but I don't think any album could reinvent any kind of wheel. He overplayed his hand a little.

Stop whining. It's not misleading at all if you want to be pedantic about it. the album 'Mylo Xyloto' is on sale, on iTunes. if it had said 'Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto' - then it would be misleading.

I'm still kind of pissed about the two month wait. They should have prepped evrything so they could just insert the CD/VINYL into the pack and ship that bad boy off! :P

It's expensive but it's worth it. the only problem is even if you preorder it, they aren't shipping the actual pop out stuff until DECEMBER 12. So a good two month wait for it. You get your digital copy and I'm assuming your physical copy, but not the rest until december.

Personally, don't care about the video. I'm one of the few people who really loved the song instantly. I embrace the new direction, I love it, but my focus is on waiting for the album to leak. (I've ordered the pop up limited edition so quit moaning about waiting for leaks :P ) The paradise video can jog on.

I know you've ordered again as I've read the later comments, but I literally have just ordered the pop up limited edition version, and I got my confirmation email about a second after I clicked 'submit' So I'm glad you've ordered it again because I think it's likely that there was an error with the website and you wouldn't have received one.
