According to their website. Lost! EP to be released in November 08. Prospekt's March EP is supposed to come in December according to some websites and in October according to another.

You are welcome to express your opinion and you did so intelligently. I too have been a staunch fan of the band from the very beginning. I couldnt disagree with you more on your views of their latest effort. I also disagree with your views of the songs Talk and X&Y. I share your view point somewhat of Fix You. However, it is just as predictable IMO as you claim Violet Hill to be. Violet Hill was and is very un-Coldplay like and was, for me, a welcome change from the over the top epics that preceded it (the album X & Y). This type of thread has been created, hashed out and re-created over and over again by many intellectuals and fanatics alike. Just to set the record straight. So, you dont like the new album as much as you wanted to. Im sorry and I wish you could hear it through my ears. Many of us hear something we like but not ALL of us . I think it and A Rush Of Blood To The Head are equally great for different reasons. Please, do not assume that I or any of the other members of this forum "have it all wrong". We just have differing opinions. With so many solid albums released this year you could easily listen to something that you do like.

I like how they put it in there letter when the album (vlvodaahf) was released. I hope it makes a shit day less like shit. It does for me, all though I can't say I really have many shit days. Their spirituality has been lifted up if you ask me. Lines like, "I don't want to follow death and all his friends" and the entirety of Strawberry Swing suggest there's more to life than melancholy and somberness. Spiritual enlightment need not always come in a mellow package.

You get the feeling that they want you to have fun and rock out a little. Lost translates very well live better than much of the new material. I too can not wait for the EP!!!
