Ive always thought of it as an homage to old spiritual... Like an early Irish folk song. Its inspirational and its positive message makes for effective live entertainment. Especially with Will on lead vocals.

hmmmm. Well I voted for MGMT and Coldplay. I will understand if MGMT is eliminated from the competition based on its original digital release date, somewhat.... As for Coldplay, I think it should be allowed as not everyone may feel its worthy:dozey:. It meets the criteria irregardless and even though this is a fan forum, we have waited so many years since X&Y that it wouldn't be right not to include it. Viva is one of the best of 2008 for me in any forum I would post such a list in. Just my 2 cents.
