I have to disagree with your comment here. SITS is nowhere near as off track or trite as Fix You. Also, what doesnt translate as well on an album can do wonders in a video or live... See, Fix You. Lyrics do not always have to be vague, artsy, barely recognizable or mysterious to get their point across. Sometimes when lyrics are more straight forward and accessable its for good reason. I happened to think the lyrics. "If I could write a book, the one they'll say that shook the world, then took it back from me" are perfect for this simple love song yearning for it to return... We all get so caught up in our daily lives and jobs that we end up swallowed whole. Just another 2cents from me about a song worth keeping on the often undervalued X&Y.:)

ROL just isnt up to par with the rest of VLV... Its kinda boring and the lulaby has been done better. Much better. Its weakness is its simplicity. Its also its strength. On another album it may have "fit" better having said that it never would be a "stand out" or "highlight" of any album. CSC on the other hand is fantastic in my opinion. A sonic dreamscape that surpasses its name. Its been said in other threads that Chris is using his voice as another instrument... Hes is GREAT at it. This song IMO is a highlight. It arguable that it outshines Yes, the song its "hidden" behind. It should have earned its rightful place as an official listed track in my book. X&Y- Ive said before and will say again. Its good. It took forever for it to sink in for me. The other 3 albums were so instantly enjoyable. I dont like all of it. Some of it I really dont care for at all. Overall, its memorable and worthy of being a Coldplay album. Its a hell of alot better than many other 2005 albums that were throw aways... my 2 cents
