J'ai déjà vu quelques concerts en Angleterre, et l'ambiance est toute à fait différente. J'ai vu Radiohead, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, ... la-bas, et le public est vraiment fou.:)

There's no way I'll be able to take a day off from work in december. I hope the list will include at least one concert on a Saturday. If that's the case, I'm definitely coming over.

Si c'est de nouveau à Bercy, je suis prèsque sûr que sa coûtera au moins 60 euros. C'est vraiment le minimum aujourd'hui. Si c'est dans un stade (ce qui est peu probable en hiver), ça pourrait coûter un peu moins cher. Mais de toute façon, ça vaut l'argent. Après le concert, t'as oublié combien t'as payé.:P

En 2005 (en Belgique), j'ai payé €40. J'imagine que ça sera beaucoup plus cher maintenant. En 2002 j'ai payé €23.

That has to be the biggest goosebump moment of all Coldplay songs.

ET and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind are great movies. But here it wasn't handled in a very good way. It was just as bad as War Of The Worlds, a movie that was full of plot holes as well.

Ford was great. Shia Labeouf was fine too. But I thought the plot was a big mess. It was fun, but didn't have the "magic" of the previous movies.

They should play a bit longer, Twisted Logic concerts were too short for a band like Coldplay. And they should mix up their selection of Parachutes and AROBTTH songs a bit more. I can understand that they don't play songs like Shiver, Spies, Everything's Not Lost, Green eyes etc. every night, but it would be nice to hear them more often. I'm a bit afraid that the "stage show" will be so big, that it won't allow for regular changes in the set list.

I think it's to prevent parallel import in Japan, but I could be wrong.

The album definitely has its flaws. But it had great reviews initially. And I still think it has some amazing moments. The only songs I don't really like on it are Speed Of Sound and The Hardest Part. And I never liked any of the B-sides. Just listened to Low again. Still love the part with the spoons.:P

I'm guessing it won't leak. X&Y never really 'leaked', it appeared on-line as soon as it was sold in Japan (or some other Asian country). I think the days of high profile releases leaking months in advance are over. They learned their lesson. And the 'time to market' of cd's has gone down too the last couple of years. CD's no longer lie in warehouses months before the release.

The Snoopy's Beatles album actually exists. I have used this avatar for years, even though I have never heard the album.:P

I've seen Coldplay seven times. The concert at Rock Werchter in 2003 was the best I've seen, even though there were a lot of technical problems during that one. The secret gig in Amsterdam was very special, but definitely not the best one. Brussels, Belgium - 2002 Lille, France - 2003 Werchter, Belgium - 2003 Amsterdam (secret gig), Holland - 2005 Arnhem, Holland - 2005 Antwerp 1, Belgium - 2005 Antwerp 2, Belgium - 2005 I have no idea how many none-coldplay concerts I have seen. Somewhere around 200 I think, but it could be a lot more. I know, that's bragging. :P But my concert-going frequency has become considerably lower in the last couple of months.

This brings back A LOT of nice memories. :) I still think the design they used in 2002/2003 was the most effective. Anyone remember the coldplay chat that was launched in 2003 (I think)? It was a huge success the first couple of weeks.:D

Anyway, I'm 23 and I'm very excited again with all those new coldplay songs popping up. Looking forward to hearing the album and spending a bit more time on this forum.
