filmmaking does sound quite exciting. you can achieve most things you put your mind to so dont think of failing before you've even began. Be positive always ;)

hey well I did my LLB and Legal Practice Solicitors Course in the UK and I must say that it was a rewarding experinence. My advice to you as a person interested in a career in law is to ensure that the law or legal qiualification you study for (should you decide to go to a university or college outside of your country ) is relevant to your particular jurisdiction. You also need to check out things like whether you might need to undertake a work placement or internship as part of the qualifiacation process and whether you will run into any problems trying to secure the work visa or a student visa which will allow you to work in the particular country. One last issue is that you should begin to consider the type of areas of law that you are most interested in and taylor your subjects accordingly as they will assist a lot in your understanding of the Practice part of the qualification and also your specialist subjects. There was a guy in a few of my classes in law school who was from Canada but I think he was looking to work and practice for a little while in the UK. I can only really give you assistance on the UK and the Caribbean, that is if you are interested in studying in any of those places. However if you have any other questions then feel free to PM me at any time . I am happy to help. :)- Jade and Lily's thread : if you're bored come say "hello"
