3 bands on the tour lineup is
that is why i said to myself the $50 seats are fine for this tour. for what will most likely be 90 minutes, $100 plus fees is just too much.

26-Oct-08: East Rutherford, NJ (1st night) - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
i went to a show a few years ago and sat in the back of the floor at the arena. from what i remember the last 3 floor sections or at least part of them were on a riser which helps a lot. so you are not flat on the floor with everybody else. i'm glad i decided to skip these shows and just go to philly. izod doesn't have the best sound and parking will be just awful especially with the football game from earlier in the day.

Nosebleed Seats
the last few tours i have gotten the expensive seats but decided against it for this tour. with times being tight i decided that the extra money could go to other things. with only getting the cheapest ticket i could go to two coldplay shows instead of one. plus i get the feeling that the set will be 90-95 minutes and for what the ticket would be after all the fees, it becomes too much in my mind. i look forward to philly in july eventhough i won't be anywhere near the stage.

25-Jul-08: Philadelphia - Wachovia Center - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
why don't you just call comcasttix so they can refund your money? the market on ebay is not much of anything. if you get face plus fees you will be lucky. you're probably better off just getting a refund from comcasttix.

25-Jul-08: Philadelphia - Wachovia Center - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
good seats are available for the upper sections closest to the stage for $77(rows 2 and 4). i got 2 of the $50 tickets this afternoon since they were in the 1st row of section 205A. as much as i enjoy seeing coldplay the bottom line is they will probably only play 90 minutes and after all the fees i thought the other seats were too steep in price. obviously people are returning tickets as different ones are available everyday.

General Chat: non-specific concert queries
for the price they are charging it should be close to 2 hours. however based on past performances it will probably be 90 minutes which with 4 albums and plenty of b-sides is too short for the price.

tour tickets
although there are still 19 hours left on the d.c. auction as of now you can put in for 2 tickets next to the stage for maybe $7 more a ticket then what you would pay after all the ticketmaster fees.

Coldplay Tickets.
do not expect to be in the first few rows unless you go through a broker and pay a lot more than face value. the best thing if your top choice is a box office is to call up the box office and ask if they will have them on sale that morning. if they do ask is it first come first serve or do they distribute wrist bands and randomly pick a number and thats where the line starts. i'll try on-line and see what i can pull and go from there. for $100 a ticket plus fees i'm going to be somewhat picky.

COLDPLAY.COM UPDATED - CONTESTS REVEALED
gmail worked well for me.

Coldplay Tickets.
many box offices don't sell tickets the day they go on sale anymore. there is a trick or two when you call ticketmaster that can be used to help you increase your chances but nothing is guaranteed. on-line is prob the best way to go. no annoying automated person or busy signal. if you aren't happy with what you pull you can always wait for a ticket drop.

Coldplay Tickets.
that is not the case. you will be able to get most of the shows through ticketmaster. livenation has a deal with ticketmaster that runs out i think next year. until then ticketmaster is still the place where most shows will be sold. they have shows up already. prices are i think $50 - $100.

it took a few hours to get the e-mail through gmail. i'm just happy it showed up. is there another e-mail you should get after you get the verification e-mail? i miss the old in my place club! it was easy, simple and got great tickets with minimal hassle.

Speculations - How will it be possible to win tickets?
if you read the official rules it says they are giving away 3,500 pairs of tickets for msg. with the tens of thousands entering i would say chances of getting these are pretty slim. i'll keep hope though. not sure where the other 7,000 tickets are going or how they will be handled. msg can hold a good 15,000 for concerts if not more. i registered early this morning and haven't gotten the confirmation e-mail that said would arrive in a few minutes. has anbybody gotten the confirmation e-mail after registering for tix?

Speculations - How will it be possible to win tickets?
then you run into the question of what makes somebody a true fan? no matter how they decide to do this, many and i do mean many people are going to be pretty angry with how it will be handled. i would love to go to the show at msg but i know the chances aren't that great. time will tell...

Coldplay Tickets
for shows in the u.s.a. tickets will be sold through ticketmaster.com, tickets.com or possibly livenation.com all depends on who owns the venue and who the promoter of that show is.
