  1. For a version without the radio moderators just listen to it on Coldplay's official YouTube channel where it was just released: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6ZWlDks0nQ]Coldplay - Paradise (Official) - YouTube[/ame] Or on iTunes.
  2. Once again, a great concert! (Except for the weather maybe..) I really hope someone recorded it! Oh, I just discovered that the picture in the 2009 tour programme below the text "the greatest fans in the known universe" was taken from last year's show in the Hallenstadion, recognized a few faces there. :) Damn, just a little bit more to the left... oh well. :\
  3. They're only listed as a showact but not as a "Wettpate" ("bet attendant" or something like that), so will they be sitting on the sofa at all? (I don't know, haven't watched "Wetten, dass" in years.)
  4. I'm also not a big fan of backing tapes :/ But at least during VLV, there can be seen a mini orchestra that plays the strings on their TV on the stage (Terry Vision they call it as far as I remember) :D The album VLVODAAHF was made with the help of violinist Davide Rossi with his electronic violin, with wich he can recreate whole orchestras. He was also part of Goldfrapp's additional cast for live concerts, exactly to avoid having backing tapes and to help recreate the sound of their album tracks (according to Wikipedia). It would be absolutely great if he was on tour with them! But I guess he is currently on the road with Goldfrapp or something. Btw: I think this thread doesn't really belong into the Multimedia section ;)
  5. I was at this concert and enjoyed every second of it! But since it was sold out 4 months ago within 2 minutes (standing tickets) and 10 minutes (seats) and the ticketing website broke down, I had to pay CHF (swiss francs) 200.- instead of the original 80.- :( But even though it hurt to spend that much (as a student), it was worth it. A few days earlier, the "text message from Chris" on the official website stated that they'll soon play a newly finished song called "Glass of Water" at one of the upcoming shows. So I decided to put "GLASS OF WATER" and a little drawing of a water glass on a small cardboard sign and took that to the concert. I knew I couldn't really make them play it if they hadn't planned to do so anyway, but oh well, I just wanted to show them my hope.. :) So at the end of the main concert, before the encore, I already thought they would never see my oh so little sign.. :/ But while walking out, Chris spottet it, squeezed his eyes (don't know how to say that in correct English.. you know, so that you can see a bit better), read it and then seemed to say "Oh! yea yea" while winking to me and making  with his hand (if I remember correctly). :) They didn't end up playing it just because of my sign, but at least he saw it.. Man, if only I'd had some more time and didn't had to hurry to catch my train, I would have added a "PLEASE" below - maybe that would've made a difference, who knows... ^^ Oh and by the way, in case you haven't seen it yet, a new blog entry by R#42 about the Zurich concert has just been published: Blog #35 On his photo, some of my friends are visible :)
  6. Have they played Glass of Water yet? (Their website says they've finished it and might be playing it live in one of the upcoming shows.)
  7. *chinese sleep chant* sleep...deep... Or you're going to oversleep the call! :shocked2: Good luck when you're on air! Is it broadcast live?
  8. This one's still up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC4RUhCmKlU
  9. I think the version that is already known is "Lost?" which is an acoustic version of the album song "Lost!". There is a clip somewhere (don't know where exactly, but I'm sure you'll find it on Youtube unless it has been removed again by EMI..) with an interview and a short snippet of "Lost!" in the background and it has quite the hip-hop beat! I liked what I heard so far..
  10. No chance getting any tickets with that stupid ticketcorner website down  Had to go to school at 8:15 and couldn't try any further... I think I should've called the hotline in the first place. Ticketcorner generally sucks, Tictec is great (print-at-home, no fees etc.). What happened to the exclusive ticket presales for Coldplay.com mailing list members?! For their last Switzerland concert I could order them there, even though it wasn't necessary anyway, wasn't sold out within minutes back then. Well, I'll check the auction websites over the next few months for some standing tickets... A shame they're not playing at the Moon & Stars this year. But Hallenstadion is better than no concert at all.. Tickets for Munich would still be available, but they're even more expensive than the Swiss ones :shocked2: not to mention the travelling cost.. Come on Coldplay, throw in a second Switzerland concert at 27/09/08! :D
