I hate about 80% of teachers. Some are pretty cool, but I can't tell you how many times teachers have graded my work incorrectly just because they don't like me and I don't agree with every word they say. Most believe they're never wrong. I had one moron this year tell me Homo Sapiens are a distant relative to humans, and they died out thousands of years ago. I don't think you should go around preaching that all teachers are angels. I had a teacher who hit a kid (in the face) once. I also had a teacher who told me I spelled a word wrong in a spelling bee just because she didn't like me (the word has two alternate spellings). I hate the public school system as a whole. The whole idea of having underpaid government workers attempt to teach our youth makes me cringe. My kids will go to private school, where they can afford some decent teachers. Those two teachers who told me I could be valedictorian are actually two of the best teachers I've come across so far in high school.
