What attitude is that? I've seen him comment many times how good his female guests look, I've never heard him point out their flaws, bitch about their weight or criticise their choice of outfits...

I thought he seemed a little nervous, or at least not as relaxed as he normally does It was nice of him to welcome the "thousands of people watching the show for the first time" :laugh3:

People hate him for the same reason they hate Jonathan Ross - he's very successful, very popular and makes a lot of money, and apparently that is a bad thing :rolleyes: I ended up watching it on my Sky+ and just skipped through Lee Evans - I just do not see anything funny about him

It's been a long week and I'm tired but will try to stay up. And Tom Cruise will be great, they asked him on Sky if he was worried about going on, and he said he was looking forward to it as he's always enjoyed being interviewed by Jonathan in the past

It wasn't like he hated him or anything, I think he just thought they maybe take themselves too seriously - something Alex James could never be accused of! It's actually a really good book, very honest, very funny, a really interesting insight in to the life of a band

Let's face it, his character has all the classics that academy voters like - they do love victims and people who are sick or dying, and they love it when pretty people uglify themselves - Nicole Kidman and her nose for example. What surprised me is how different the nominations are from the Globes - as BB didn't pick up anything there, and got 13 noms here, maybe it's going to me a big winner...

He mentions Guy briefly in his autobiography he bumped in to him at The Groucho Club and didn't seem that impressed with him. I don't think he finds them "rock star" enough

Yeah, while I'm sure his looks have held himback a little as it may have stopped him being taken seriously at times, I also think that if he didn't look like that, he'd never have got to where he is now. He's not a bad actor, he's just not charismatic like some of his contemporaries

Not fussed about Benjamin... I'm not a huge Brad Pitt fan and it sounds a bit weird to me... will have to check out Slumdog though. The British are coming!!!

The Oscar pics are only just starting to arrive over here in the UK. Can't believe Revolutionary Road got shut out - can't wait to see that! I actually think Winslett might miss out... again!
