We arrived late for the Elbow gig (and yes, it was fantastic) due to getting stuck in the traffic so we were right at the back, and people were just carrying on like they were in a pub. Who pays to go and have a conversation and a pint in a concert hall?

did he mean they're bad at doing the Oooah's during VLV? The Liverpool crowd practically took the roof off on Sunday night... and everyone sang it on their way out of the venue and in to the car park too. It was awesome

I guess it depends on if you were asking for him to sing in front of thousands of people or requesting a private performance :wink3:

I have tickets for one of the dates with Jay-Z and my boyfriend won't come with me because in his words "it's a stupid idea to have him on" Even after listening to Will explaining why they asked him, he still doesn't get it! Don't you just love Will?!!

I don't understand why the stewards don't chuck them out at the first sign of trouble. The first time I saw Coldplay was at Newcastle. All through the support act I was really stressed out by three peoplev behind me who were so drunk, they couldn't sit up straight. They were rowdy and making everyone around them feel uncomfortable. The stewards only intervened when one of them tried to light a spliff. Then the were all removed and the rest of us could get on with enjoying the evening

That's a shame. I have to say the people around me were all having a great time, but it's not always the case at Liverpool gigs. I saw Elbow at the Uni and it seemed like half the crowd talked their way through it while some people at Vampire Weekend thought it would be fun to throw their pints in the air. Why do people pay good money to ignore the music and make others peoples night miserable?

On the front page headline it reads "Radio 1"

Surely if you tell people who to vote for, it kind of defeats the purpose of having a poll. Or did you post on a Radiohead forum telling their fans to vote for them etc???

22nd of December was suggested as a cut off date for sending... Debs will check the PO Box again a couple of weeks after that. It'll be fine, don't worry.

They came on about ten past nine in Liverpool and like Mimixxx said we were out of the arena by 11 - I think it finished around 10.45pm
