Yeah, my Sky+ is showing Speed in his time slot. I can't see them getting rid of Ross - they'd lose too much. It's not just the chat show, he also does Film 2008, the radio show, the Bafta's, plus extras like Comic Relief (that's why he's paid so much, he's around that much) As for Brand, I wonder if he maybe has one foot out the door anyway. He's a "movie star" now, maybe he'd quite like to leave. It must be hard for someone like him to deal with all the demands the BBC must put on his material. Maybe he'll just decide to leave... Ant & Dec got fired by the Beeb on the grounds of making obscene comments and it hardly killed their careers...

Nobody would give a damn if Jonathan Ross was unknown and paid a minimum wage - this is all because of his high wages. Yes, it was offensive, but they apologised and according to the radio two days ago, Andrew Sachs said he'd recieved a nice letter from Ross and he considered the matter closed. Clearly his Grandaughter wants her 15 mins though and got herself a deal with The Sun. Are there not more important things for MP's to be discussing?
