haha ^ last night i had a dream about coldplay too! they stayed at my house! it has got to be one of the strangest BEST dreams i have ever had. i took the whole band to a chinese restaurant (that i never go to) and gwenyth came as well. i had to entertain them after dinner and got everyone desserts, so i started saying "come on!" and then suddenly we were all singing amsterdam. then the band got all their instruments out and we had a whole jam session (this all happened in my basement...which is completely non-existent in real life) and i later remember something about a concert but then....unfortunately...i woke up. :cry:

i just feel like when i'm listening to their music, i know exactly how they're all feeling. each word and each note has a different meaning and the way they tie it all together is brilliant. not to mention they are epic live and they are just great, kind, humble guys with a love for music. not to mention guy berryman...

i loooveee the way guy plays the bass. he stands in a position where he like arches his back and starts tapping his foot. he seems very agile hehe:D

i just played this on the piano actually using the notes from the image and it sounded very nice. some notes sounded a bit strange and some were very hard to actually play (chords were hard to reach) but its still a beautiful song. i'm guessing whoever printed the music (presumably chris) forgot to write a flat or two :P

while i was driving today on the highway i looked at the car next to me and i swore i saw someone that looked EXACTLY like guy berryman. i took a double take and almost flipped out then i realized that it would be impossible considering i live in ny.. it got me really excited though!

i think this part is absolutely brilliant. my favorite 3 lines of the entire album. i was just reading the Q and will said "This is us singing all together an then another us singing together. The Coldplay Choir. And it had an echo that lasted for a long, long time. When we did a lot of group singing we just roped in whoever was around. Studio engineers, whoever." So it was recorded in an art gallery in Barcelona that was once the medical room of an ancient nunnery. EPIC!!!

it's also chris's favorite number, so that's partially why it's the title. the other half is that it is the meaning of life in the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy as was mentioned before.

yeah, they did play strawberry swing live at msg too. i wish they played death...especially towards the end, with the whole choir part..would be epic live.
